What if God isn’t sending a savior through the ballot box?

Throughout the pages of Scripture, God often used pagan kings, not to lead revivals, but to wake His people up through judgment. Think about Nebuchadnezzar, who destroyed Jerusalem and carried Judah into exile. Or Assyria, the empire that crushed the northern kingdom of Israel. In Isaiah 10:5-6, God even calls Assyria “the rod of My anger.” These rulers were not godly men. But they were instruments in God's hand, used to discipline a people who had forgotten Him.

I understand where you are coming from & I agree, God can use anyone to get his people back onto the right path.

God, Family and Country makes good sense to me but God, Family and Guns is very iffy though. Guns are for killing or injuring. They don't sit well with God.

Legally defending one's life with a gun doesn't sit well with God?

I'm just saying guns and God just doesn't sit well with me and many others. I don't remember any passages in the Bible where the Jewish people were shouting God, Israel, Spears and Swords. They spoke about God saving Israel, period.

Why are you sounding so upset? I don't understand this. God is wants us to love one another like we would love ourselves. There is nothing wrong with defending yourself with a gun but to put that in a slogan along side God sounds ridiculous to me, sorry.

You are right . That is the beauty of our Constitution, we can bear arms to defend ourselves.
