Can I use a ouija board to communicate with God?

When my kids used to watch paranormal shows that were all the rage awhile back I used to make sure that I thought they were studying demon activity. But ouija is a different story than watching a TV show where discernment can be taught.

Yes, it is wise to know what the devil is up to. I like to find the door they opened to invite the 'activity.' Many times it was an Ouija board played with the ignorance shown in this forum.

No. I've also never paid attention to horroscopes, visited psychics, or attempted to bend a spoon or engage in any other form of nonsense woo. But that's irrelevant, see the ideomotor phenomenon.

A simple experiment to demonstrate the ideomotor effect is to allow a hand-held pendulum to hover over a sheet of paper. The paper has keywords such as YES, NO and MAYBE printed on it. Small movements in the hand, in response to questions, can cause the pendulum to move towards key words on the paper. So we introduce things to our children who can't with their little minds fully comprehend and we offer them the tools to be able to...

I thought a parent (especially when a child is a child) can restrict what information they want their child to ingest?


When GOD told Adam and Eve do not eat from the tree of knowledge, HE didn't go into elaboration to explain precisely what would happen (and they didn't even at the time know what evil or death were)

But HE, being a FATHER, knows better what is best for HIS children and restricted this one thing from them

Here we are offering and suggesting the ouija board to children and not being at least clear about it being not of or from GOD

For the above stated reason. Maybe I didn't mention that they were teenagers that disconnecting the cable only worked for awhile on them.

But there's a difference between Almighty God and what He does, and what mere creatures can do. Do you believe that God has imbued ouija boards with His own divine power, or to be used to accomplish means to that effect?

I'm not saying the Ouija board itself contains any supernatural power, no, it's just a manmade thing.

But you seem to be denying that any supernatural being other than God exists.

I dont believe this thread has anything to do with a wood board. It is here to show us how easy it is to make people, who believe they are heaven bound, turn against each other. Questioning the parenting skills of others, calling one another lairs and slanderer, implying that others are ignorant because they see things different....... None of these things will be going on in Heaven.... Time to start examining ourselves.... We are calling the wood evil, when we have just proven that the evil comes from within not without.... We didnt need to summon a demon of judgement..it came from inside...but we cant see that because we are too busy examining others on the outside....to see the rotting flesh within. knowing the bible and saying Lord, Lord is not enough. Without love....all is vanity. Those without the ear, wont hear.

Teenagers might be even worse because they want to assert their adulthood and think their parents don't know best what they, themselves, think is better for them
