Hello brother aiki, nice to meet you. Some comments for your consideration below. I might break this down section by section into smaller posts for readability.
I also agree that a "TRUE BELIEVER" in the "present tense" of application has and walks in God's Spirit through faith. These are God's children and true disciples. As it is written...
JOHN 8:31-36
[31], Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, IF YOU CONTINUE IN MY WORD , THEN ARE YOU MY DISCIPLES INDEED;
[32], And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
[33], They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how say you, You shall be made free?
[34], Jesus answered them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Whoever commits sin is the servant of sin.
[35], And the servant stays not in the house for ever: but the Son stays ever.
[36], If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.
Notice here that these promises are condtional on continuing to believe and follow God's Word; Those who continue in God's WORD have the promises of
1. KNOWING GOD'S TRUTH v32
2. FAITH IN THE TRUTH MAKING THEM FREE v32
3. FREEDOM IS FROM SIN NOT TO CONTINUE IN SIN v34-36
Where is the scripture that says a born again christian cannot fall away from the faith and no longer believe and follow Gods Word? Yet the scriptures in God's WORD clearly teach that those who have received God's Spirit can indeed fall away and grieve the Spirit of God as demonstrated in HEBREWS 6:4-8 not to mention the many warning all through the NEW COVENANT that warn believers against falling away from BELIEVING and FOLLOWING God's WORD (eg see OP).
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Your response...LoveGodsWord said: ↑Hi my brothers and sisters. Can a believer become an unbeliever?
No, not a genuinely born-again believer, indwelt by God's Spirit and fundamentally transformed by him. (2 Corinthians 5:17) There are, of course, many "tares" in the Church (Matthew 13:24-43), false converts, or "false brethren," as Paul the apostle called them (2 Corinthians 11:26; Galatians 2:4), who appear to be saved but because they aren't truly saved, eventually depart from the faith. (1 John 2:19)

Indeed so the question is how can we know if we are born again children of God? Who are the children of God and the children of the devil *1 JOHN 2:1-4; 1 JOHN 3:3-10?One can certainly know about God and be familiar with Scripture and not be actually born-again. From this sort of thing many professing to be believers "fall away."
