I had plantar fasciitis a few years ago which was relieved by doing leg stretches. Now I have numbness and burning on the tops of my feet and a burning pain when I point my feet as well as numbness in my legs. When I point my toes I feel a burning sensation in the top of my foot. What could be causing this?

The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. Have you been checked for diabetes? I think if I were you, I would see either an internist or a neurologist, if anything to just rule out anything major.

I have type two Diabetes,and Anemia and a low thyroid and suffer from numbness and burning of the feet,sometimes going up my leg on the left side.I was told I probably have neuropathy due to the Diabetes.Please get checked out by both your primary doctor and a neurologist.
