It is on record that from the very beginning, the founders of the EU chose to create a united states of Europe by deception. They knew that the common man would not accept losing national sovereignty, so they did it by stealth.

Although Churchill supported the creation of a European Union, he was extremely clear that Britain should NOT be a member of it. Additionally, Churchill was dedicated to democracy, and there is no way he would approve of the current dictatorial and anti democratic EU.

I do wonder if on some level people actually do want devious cretins like Farage and Trump in charge, so they can marvel at how loaded they are, doff their caps and pick up the scraps from under the table. The freedom of cultural interchange, learning and movement that the EU offers seems to genuinely frighten a lot of people. Maybe ignorance of the wider world is comforting for some people, the idea of not having to deal with the hassle of different ideas and beliefs.

What rubbish, the E.U's main objective is a European, Neo-Liberal Capitalist bloc, it mainly suits big Business, saturating job markets to drive wages down and reducing the "going rate" for skilled and semi-skilled jobs as non-unionised migrant workers will accept less and be exploited as a lesser rate here is better than in their home nations, but sadly forces the hand of the British worker, a job that he'd demand 35k+ for is now take it or leave it at 25k or less., its a economic dynamic that sees a "race to the bottom", of course the way around this is to Unionise and get people into the Syndicalist movement, that's a another problem that goes beyond the E.U. The E.U is also about making it easier to move products and finances.

All normal people get is a few byproducts of the E.U, like cheaper travel and more movement rights and also the Social Liberal sugar coated on top to keep people hooked, no wonder the Lib Dems loved the E.U, its them to a Tee, Socially Liberal, Economically Capitalist.

The problem is not leaving the E.U, its letting us leave on Torie Capitalist terms and the draw of over-bearing Nationalism, but that needs to be changed by convincing people to turn to Social Democracy or Democratic Socialism (but not be drawn into Marxist fantasy) and if possible, towards Syndicalism.

Free movement and cultural interchange can then be as you put it can be more embraced, when the Capitalistic and manipulative Neo-Liberal agenda is toppled and un-restricted Capitalism is brought under fair controls that suit all of Society.

People also need to learn that Liberalism is the biggest block to a truer fairer society, its a smokescreen, that keeps the rich wealthy and the poor, poor. Its the most useful political device for controlling the masses in the 21st Century. Nationalism, is the second best tool for such control, different methods, controlled by rival factions of Capitalists, but the same divisive tactics.

I am glad to see the back of the E.U, but the battle isn't finished, its just begun, the E.U is one piece of the Globalist Capitalist jigsaw.

It is the duty of every Syndicalist to spread this message, to change society using his labour and production capabilities, to unite into a force, to increase productivity, but make sure all of society tastes the fruits of its success, not just the Capitalists, elite, neo liberals and property landlords!
