Well no , you didnt just talk to her , if that was the intend , i think maybe you would have pmed her and said listen , i dont think you should be coming off this way , or whatever you would have said . Instead you did what you called her down for and 2 wrongs dont make a right .

I dont know what she said on whatever thread many here are attacking her about , but to be honest , this thread shouldnt have anything to do with it , that was there , this is here .

If we all carried what bothered us from other threads , no one would ever be able to talk about anything and we leave no one any room for growth in any area .

I don't pm people - statements made publicly need to be addressed publicly and given this person's attitude I am fine with how I addressed the issue.

Are you telling me people don't say they did all kinds of horrible things during their life but that was before they were born again like that is supposed to explain something?

Most people who are not born again do not compromise themselves according to you . Can you tell me why the porn industry compromises more than 85 percent of internet space? I mean you seem to have all the answers about us christians even though what the bible says about christianity contradicts you .

Tell me since you made an unsubstantiated charge if you can back it up(which i doubt) since you are attempting to say you are laughing about what i said , yet havent told us what form of debauchery i have participated in , or what the OP has participated in since you dont know either of us and how its ok for you to sit in judgment ?

You asked the question..."do you even know if she was born again.." and I said it doesn't matter but I laugh at people who use that as if it's an excuse because what that basically is saying is that non born again people sin and born agian people do not. Honestly, that may not be what you MEAN but your words convey that to me and most other non christians.

Please, I beg of you, stop taking my posts personally and read my words and see if you can understand why your words might cause me to repond the way I do. It's and exchange, a game, an insight to someone with a pov different than your own that maybe, just maybe, will cause you to evaluate why you believe what you do and say the things you say. I know I do. That is what debating is all about. If you don't have fun debating me why do it at all?

It's and exchange, a game, an insight to someone with a pov different than your own that maybe, just maybe, will cause you to evaluate why you believe what you do and say the things you say. I know I do. That is what debating is all about. If you don't have fun debating me why do it at all?

See y'all, this is what I mean.

Some Christians think that separation after a legal marriage (Divorce) is sinful, and partners after that are adultrous, regarless of legal status.

Some Christians think that the sexual act constitutes marriage in the eyes of God, and any farther relationships after that are adultrous.

I don't think either is particularly bad... but if you (in general) starting using the Biblical argument against one, you (in general) better be prepared to have the alternate argument thrown back at you. Of course Christians are all forgiven and stuff, but it doesn't keep them from assuming that the other offending party is not (or is not yet, or that they've missed something they should be asking forgiveness for, etc...ad infinitum).



Let me reiterate for clarity: I DO NOT think that sex before marriage, divorce, or having children out of wedlock is bad, unfortunate sometimes, but not at all terrible. I am using arguments that I have heard other Christians make as examples.

Which is a symptom of the human condition that we all suffer from, all people to some extent do this, I was not inferring it was exclusive to Christians... only insofar as it concerns arguments from a Biblical bases (which I assume Hindus and Muslims only engage in very rarely).
