While multiculturalism is a worthy goal, it shouldn't be fetishized to the point that we end up accepting religious ideologies that are antithetical to liberal, democratic values. The Dalai Lama is not a racist or a bigot for recognizing this fact:

http://www.politico.eu/article/dalai-lama-germany-cannot-become-an-arab-country-refugees-muslims/

An unspoken truth about the Muslim immigrant crisis in Europe is that it's resulted in an increase in rape and sexual assault across Europe, due to the negative attitudes that many Muslim immigrants have toward women and non-Muslims:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...al-wave-horrific-attacks-reported-Europe.html

Though I disapprove of Trump using the Syrian refugee crisis for political gain, I don't think we should just blindly accept Muslim immigration either, since it threatens the very values that liberals claim to stand for.

Let's look at Richard Dawkins being honest about the appeal of Donald Trump:
What’s more concerning is that I’ve come across several liberals in the last few weeks who don’t like Trump, but support him because they feel the Democrats are in denial about Islamic terrorism, refusing to even name it. Sadly, this is true, and the Democratic leadership is largely to blame. The ex-radical Muslim reformer Maajid Nawaz calls “The Voldemort Effect”: failing to name the problem makes it harder to fight it, and worse — this is key — fails to differentiate peaceful American moderate Muslims from radical jihadists. This is dangerous. If liberals had taken on this problem honestly and channeled the anxiety of the post-Paris/San Bernardino public from a position of moral strength, Trump would’ve been less able to jump in and channel it from a position of xenophobic bigotry.

When has anyone suggested anyone should "blindly accept" Muslim immigration?

That's the fundamental position of liberals. That's exactly why they have flooded the West and established thousands of mosques. "Blindly" means (1) ignore the fact that Radical Islam declared war on the West about 40 years ago, (2) ignore the fact that migrant invasion is another facet of Jihad, (3) ignore the fact that the agenda of Islam is to establish a worldwide Islamic Caliphate.

While Trump himself is an opportunist who's probably unqualified for the presidency, he's nonetheless said certain truths that the regressive left isn't willing to say.

As an American Buddhist, I cannot and will not blindly accept Muslim immigration into my country, while Buddhists are being routinely persecuted and killed by Muslims overseas:

What I would like to see is Muslim countries doing more to help Syrian refugees. It's just as hypocritical when Muslim countries demonize Israel for its treatment of the Palestinians, while doing nothing to take Palestinians as refugees into their own countries.

Donald Trump shouldn't be our next president, but he's tapping into anger over liberals not recognizing Islamic extremism for what it is.

"facts" generally need supporting evidence.

Her open door policy led to over two million Syrian refugees entering Germany in 2015.
Yes, I understand about the refugee crisis, but that wasn't what I asked. Did she ever say they would just blindly accept all comers?

Zero percent of British Muslims believe that homosexuality is moral, and a majority believe it should be illegal:

https://www.theguardian.com/uk/2009/may/07/muslims-britain-france-germany-homosexuality

http://www.cnn.com/2016/04/11/europe/britain-muslims-survey/

There is an epidemic in Western countries of second and third generation Muslims becoming radicalized. This is greatly because of the extremist positions advocated in so-called moderate mosques:

So, still nothing about anyone saying that they should all just be blindly accepted, huh?

Wouldn't actions speak louder than words in that regard?

Wouldn't an "open door" policy be pretty much on par with the notion of "blindly accepting"?
