I was under the impression that blacks and Natives were seen as victims in need of reparations to the tune of $233,000 each in order to be "equal" to those who won't be getting that money, but will be forced to supply it--white people.

Now I've often been accused of sarcasm on this forum. But in my defence, I reject the position that it's the lowest form of wit. In the right hands and used with discretion it can be a very useful tool. I don't consider myself an expert at it, but I know it well enough to recognise it when it's presented. And the quote above is an example. Not a good one. But an example nevertheless.
