Is it hate to point out that dangerous and fascistic ideologies are gaining support among supporters of a particular politician? If this is interpreted as hatred, then is the pushback against Biden’s strong statement also considered hate? I think it’s important to look beyond the immediate emotional reaction we experience from hearing an idea that differs from ours and ask whether that idea really comes from a place of hate, or it’s just something we hate to hear.I would say we should all refuse to give in to hate. From my perspective, Biden seems to believe that hating things and people he does not hate should not be allowed but hating things and people he also hates is just fine. Same thing with disinformation. If he labels something disinformation, he expects it to be censored and when he disseminates disinformation, that is free speech.
Nope. I can assure you that as a black man, I have never met more bigoted and racist people that those in the Democratic party. My friend, you misunderstand me. I'm not saying the all Republicans 'embrace misogyny, racism, bigotry and homophobia.' But people who embrace them all will vote GOP
Well, that's two of the four, not all four.Nope. I can assure you that as a black man, I have never met more bigoted and racist people that those in the Democratic party.
Oh...the right is definitely more homophobic and misogynistic. I'll give you that.Well, that's two of the four, not all four.
If you say so. I'll stick with the original definitions as shown in dictionaries.By using sarcasm, yes. Most definitely.
And now you're using psychological projection in an attempt to put me on the defensive. My friend, you are the CRT denier. You do deny that there are systems in place that affect people of different skin colors differently, right? I wouldn’t want to mislabel you as “woke.” Now that I’ve educated you on MLK, I might need to introduce you to someone named Christopher Rufo, the one who invented the “controversy” over CRT.
You just used the sanitized version of what I just said. Wordsmithing doesn't change what CRT is.
How so? Have I misrepresented you in any way? Looks to me like you’re dodging. And now you're using psychological projection in an attempt to put me on the defensive.
Seems sensible since minorities never pay taxes then?Under Jim Crow, the government decided to discriminate against black people based on their skin color.
Now, the government wants to discriminate against white people (based on their skin color) of today by forcing them to pay $233,000 of their dollars to black people (based on their skin color).
Race-based discrimination. First seen as bad, but now good--both done by government.
So yes, just another type of Jim Crow laws.
How do you figure taxes into this matter?Seems sensible since minorities never pay taxes then?
Dollars they don't have, considering the $25,000,000,000 deficit California is facing for next year. What dollars are you thinking are being paid to Black people?
So you agree it’s not money being taken from the pockets of white taxpayers and handed to Black and Indigenous residents? It’s money generated by government spending, which is offset by everyone’s taxes, not just the white people’s? Good for you!Dollars they don't have, considering the $25,000,000,000 deficit California is facing for next year.
Not sure where you made up all that from.So you agree it’s not money being taken from the pockets of white taxpayers and handed to Black and Indigenous residents? It’s money generated by government spending, which is offset by everyone’s taxes, not just the white people’s? Good for you!
I’m paraphrasing you. What part is incorrect? Not sure where you made up all that from.
BTW, since when does government spending "generate" money, other than at the Mint's printing press?
For starters, the part implied by the question I asked that you haven't answered.I’m paraphrasing you. What part is incorrect?
For the record this went off track when your "woe for the Whiteman" comment came when you never identify where California would be getting their money foe these payments to anyways. It's too bad you undermine your point with casual prejudice and racism.
You answered that question for yourself. In any case, you seem to be walking back your initial claim that white people would soon be forced to pay for six-figure handouts to Black and Native American residents. This was the “woe to the white man” segment of your thesis. Glad to see you’ve wised up.For starters, the part implied by the question I asked that you haven't answered.
