If the pages are in good shape and not browned, and if the pages are bundled into a sewn structure you can have the bible rebound in hardcover. I've seen it done many times. You could have it redone in hardboard or leather. Expensive, but durable, and you get to keep your notes and use the book for years to come.

I chose to just tape mine up, and it looks terrible. But then I've moved on to an ESV CE, which came as a boxed book. The most damage to my old Bible came from packing it in luggage. It had been to three continents and a dozen countries. A box would have kept it so it would still be OK. Because if the paper is good acid free stuff and the binding is sewn the book can take long use.
I have other Bibles the one picture is used at work during breaks and lunch hours. I have looked into rebinding my Book of Concord but I'll wear it out a little more before doing so.
