3:6 And lo, when the road runner did stop at the edge of the cliff, the coyote did not
3:7 and he kept going forward unto his doom, for his rocket skates did not stop.
3:8 But instead of falling, he remained held in the air, as of a great unseen force had a hold of him.
3:9 And when the coyote did behold that he was not supported by solid ground, his face developed an expression of grief
3:10 And only then did the force holding him let him fall
3:11 For that was the most humorous time to do so.
3:12 And in the moment before he fell, yea, even as his feet had begun to descend
3:13 The coyote held up a small sign upon which was written Eeek
3:14 For that was the sound of his dispair.
3:15 And then he fell, each part of his body stretching out before it too fell into the abyss.
3:16 And his head, being uppermost on his body, was the last to fall.
3:17 And then he was gone.
3:18 And he met the earth with the sound of a coyote falling from a great height.
3:19 And the road runner beheld this, and he saw that it was good
3:20 But he knew that his foe was not defeated forever, for that would not be funny.
3:21 And so the road runner saith Meep Meep, and then he made that strange popping noise with his tongue
3:22 And he raneth away into the distance, running into a large trompe l'oeil of a tunnel that the coyote had earlier painted onto the wall
3:23 But instead of smackething into the wall, he continued through the painting as though it was a real tunnel
3:24 For that was the funniest way to end the episode.
3:25 Th-th-th-that's all, Folks! Amen.
