So, I thought it would be better to upload this video for anyone who's curious. It happened after I was coming back from a church group. Night time again. I noticed something moving across the sky, and my first thought was like, "Isn't it a bit late for a helicopter?" But I just kept driving, not really paying it much attention. Went around this roundabout and was heading toward the highway. My church is about a 45-minute drive from my home, and I was on my way back to my home area to meet up with my co-workers at a restaurant.
So, I see those lights again, this time on my left. I glance over, and it hits me that it's not a helicopter. It's some kind of aircraft. Not a big deal, it looked weird, but you know, nothing totally out of the ordinary. I pull off the road, take a few turns, and I'm about 10 minutes from the church when I see it once more, cruising above the treetops to my left again. It struck me as really odd now, and I'm thinking, "Why is it still there?" I've put some considerable distance between the last time I saw it, so why is it still going in the same direction as me? It's definitely feeling stranger, and it feels like it's following me at this point. But of course, no one's going to believe me. So another couple of minutes goes by, and it's still there.
So, here comes my brilliant plan! So smart. I decide to pull over at this little ranch-like place and record the thing. Super genius. So smart. As soon as I pull in and step out of my car, the aircraft dips behind some trees near these houses and vanishes from sight. But no way was I giving up. I was on a mission to capture this thing on video. So there I am, standing outside my car with my phone out, waiting for it to show up again. And finally, it reappears, and I hit that record button. Oh, but here's the kicker! I'm not exactly a phone person. I rarely take videos. As soon as I press the record button, the flashlight on my phone decides to join the party. No clue why, but I feel like my phone was saying, "Let me shed some light on this situation." So now I'm unintentionally beaming my phone's flashlight in its direction. I fumble around for a quick second trying to turn it off because I'm clueless. So smart.
Well, this aircraft starts going up and then off to the left. At that point, I'm thinking, "Alright, it's not following me. Just happened to be going the same way." Ohhh, so smart... It doesn't keep going left. It starts turning. Directly toward me. And I'm like, "... Okay, it's heading my way now." SO SMART! And then, it gets closer and closer, lower and lower. Suddenly, I realize, it's massive. And it's coming right at me.
I. Panicked. I stopped the video and jumped right back into my car. My mind's racing like, "Oh no, it knows I'm filming it. It saw the dumb phone light. GO. NOW." I've never started my car and reversed so fast in my life. By the time I pulled far enough back to drive away, it was maybe 50-100 feet away. The lights were blindingly bright; I thought I was going to crash into something because I couldn't see. And then, I just floored it. I'm pretty sure I hit 90 miles per hour on the public roads.
I'm JETTING to the highway. When I get on it, I kept looking in my rearview mirror and around. SO SMART. One of my coworker called me. She's all, "Where are you? And what's your food pick? The kitchen's about to close so we wanted to order you something for when you got here." I was so lost and panicked, food was the last thing on my mind, I just said, "I can't talk right now!" and hung up. I did eventually slow down when I realized I couldn't see it anymore. By the time I pulled into the restaurant, I was too spooked to step out of my car. I just stayed there for a couple of minutes, in a full-on panic, gazing out the window for a good while. Then I finally mustered the courage to dart inside. I figured I'd be safer hanging out in the restaurant with people rather than being alone in my car.
I showed them the video, and one of them tossed out the idea that it could be a drone. A stealthy, giant, Christian following drone. I'm no expert on drone sizes, but this thing was massive. Plus, it didn't just hang out; it came straight toward me and tagged along from the church. Yet, nothing actually went down, that I'm aware of, and I haven't seen it since. I did my online detective work, scoured the web to see if anyone else had a run-in with this thing or if there was any news. But as per usual, nothing. I'm pretty sure I wasn't abducted or anything........................ I'm about 99.9% positive.
But, I've chalked this up to some military people just wanted to see a civilian panic. I have doubts that that's true, because my other sister works for Air Force Intelligence and she said that not only is that highly illegal, but also she knows for a fact that it's not theirs. But also, I know that she's not allowed to tell me things, so it could be just that. Either way, I'm content on believing it was a massive drone or military people getting a little haha in.
