Afraid so, but do we really need evidence? Isn't our faith enough?
Indeed it is!

But unbelievers are going to have to account for why they didn't accept Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour, especially when His evidence is all around them: from the constellations in the sky, to time divided in BC/AD, to holidays and everything in between.

Which came first though? the birth, or the celebration?

How one answers that says a lot about how they think.

You are assuming the two are linked, and they don't have to be. Christmas is a cultural holiday that has gone through many changes and has many pagan holidays merged into it to pull people into the Christain religion.

Again, it doesn't mean the birth happened, just that people believed it happened.

Oh, no idea who they are just know them by their names.
Captain Kirk is William Shatner, Apollo is a fallen angel who masqueraded as a Greek god.

As Lucifer put it:

Isaiah 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

You are using Star Trek as support for your religious faith?

Their argument is the big bang though. Although I believe that God caused it,.. atheists actually mean to tell me that for no reason at all there was this big gas explosion and everything came into being and apes turned into human beings? Sounds like a science fiction novel to me. I'm surprised that there aren't any theories of aliens breeding with us.

No, that is not how the big bang happened.

Humans are apes that share a ancestor with other apes.

Aren't you the one who's always telling me I've "got nothing"?

Your list is nothing because none of those are evidence for God/Jesus, only for people who believe what you believed.

We're not telling you to not believe, we are only asking you to not confuse belief on faith with belief on evidence.

Ah, Germany's noel vs Israel's Noel.

Got it.

Germany and Israel didn't get along very well, did they?
I’m not german I’m from Sweden (jul).

As Israel didnt exist during wwII your comment is vapid.

I'd say there is (arguably) a fourth category - those (like me) who grew up in a religious environment, went to religious schools (Catholic primary, Benedictine Abbey secondary) but for whom religious belief never 'took'. Following all the rituals (praying at meals, praying before bed, etc.), they believed in God as they believed Santa Claus - until it became obviously absurd.

Faith requires an object.

And in the case of Christianity, God supplied that Object.

Academia objects.
Yes, faith requires an object, but there is not evidence that object exists in reality. How do you demonstrate that the object of your faith is real?

And why are they trying to "pull people into the Christian religion"?

Could it have something to do with the Great Commission?

Wouldn't you expect them to believe it happened if it did?

I don't know what your response refers to--can you clarify your point?

Meaning I wasn't talking about anybody specifically on here.
