Well it was kinda, you did stuff non-Christians into tiny ghettos and treated them as 2nd class citizens...

kind of like the beginning of the holocaust...

I think comparing the old Christian Forums to the Holocaust is a bit extreme! 6 million innocent people were murdered, compared to a web site that ALLOWED non-Christians to post. It was nice enough the Erwin opened part of the site to non-Christians. There was no segregation, nor was there anything even similar to a ghetto!

The only things I would like to see is an area for Christians Only and a place for everyone... the CO area does not even have to be as big as it was before, and I would advocate as I always have for an area that mirrors the CO area... such as a men's discussion for Christians only, and a men's discussion for everyone. Or as Lel said before, give it an option for people to make their thread Christian Only or open to everyone. That is an excellent idea.

CaDan, I think you are confusing the concept of 'ghetto' with that of a safe place.

Option 2 leaves room for outreach. Option 1 leaves no room for a safe place.

The traditional Christian denominations always have a controlled space - in a church it's usually called "the altar". In the ancient Church there was a time when those who were not baptized had to leave the Church after the instructive part of the service (liturgy). You used to be a regular visitor to TAW - thought you knew that!
