So generally I don't personally put a lot of value in theories that violate the laws of physics. ;)
Tell that to Einstein back in 1905!

I'm not even sure why he finds a flat universe compelling evidence to support his current beliefs since Penrose demonstrated that a flat universe is MUCH more likely to occur in the ABSENCE of inflation, something like 10 to the 100th power more likely in fact.
I thought you didn't believe in inflation, so that should be alright then ^_^.

How do I create a world?
Depends what you're referring to with 'world'.

If you mean a world like the one we're in, dunno.

If you mean a world, a general and theoretical model, you can define it as you please and call it created (works well with mathematics, though some may argue with semantics).

If you mean a world, a digital world, just start programming and you'll have created it.

It may be more ways, but I can't think of any more from the top of my head.

Edit: (If you're referring to the first, you're not making any sense)

I always stumble on already used arguments. I use them over and over again, to keep the conversation going, But i rather spend my day fishing or being in church, or why not Just relax and watch soccer. The truth is that i don't want to hang out on these forum but are always emprissoned before the computer. I don't like it, no i don't. There has to be something that is meaningful in life, and computer aint it. It's like interacting with the mirror. I guess the only reason i am here is to teach myself. Thats useful. But everytime I turn off the computer and the buzz stops, i feel such great euforia and calmness that is beyond description!

Is there any interest in compiling a form of FAQ or frequently used arguments?
Or has it already been done (here in this forum)?
The last time I saw that done was a long time ago, and it devolved quickly. If we could get the mods to sticky it, and give someone 'admin rights within the thread', it could work.

On the other hand, there are plenty of resources out there. TalkOrigins has a fantastic list of Creationist arguments and why they're wrong.

Too bad that it hasn't worked out in the past. Perhaps it is as you say, sticky and admin rights would make it better.

Perhaps a thread with reference to TO and other useful sites.
If it doesn't get 'stickied' it could be promoted with signatures.
Of course that would require some dedicated work by the OP, or those in the first page if no admin rights were granted.

Tell that to Einstein back in 1905!

Einstein didn't technically violate any known "laws" of physics that I'm aware of, he simply produced a different mathematical model to explain a known process of nature (gravity).

I thought you didn't believe in inflation, so that should be alright then ^_^.
Indeed. ;) I just don't really understand why Krauss considers a "flat" universe to be useful "support" of his beliefs. It's MORE likely to be flat WITHOUT inflation than with inflation. I suppose the fact the flatness or lack thereof could be considered a falsification process, in in that way it 'passes some test', but flatness isn't limited to any one theory, nor is it unique to a "net zero energy" universe.

The part I find most personally troubling about Krauss's claims about a net zero energy universe is that it stands in direct opposition to reality as we understand it. Energy exists in this universe and has existed for AT LEAST 13.7 billion years and it's existed eternally in some form or another if our LAWS of physics have any meaning or value at all. Over that time, that energy has heated stars, planets, atmospheres and it's changed forms many times. That kinetic energy release over time isn't actually "offset" by anything in Krauss's presentation. He simply ignores that problem entirely and acts as though it doesn't matter. It does matter. That energy release over time demonstrates that his "something from nothing' concept is bogus nonsense. If he can't recognize that fact, it's hard to take his ideas too serious on any other topic. His "free lunch" beliefs certainly erode his credibility from my perspective. His ASSUMPTIONS about DNA just forming spontaneously on accident one day for instance is an act of pure "faith" on his part.

The whole Boson Higgs thing that was announced a day back or so.....

I've seen many videos and keep trying my best to understand this new principle.

Apparently, they found something that has no mass at all. My brain can't even understand such a thought.

In layman's talk, did they just find the spiritual existence to all living matter?

Are these researchers honestly close to finding God's unseen power?
