  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Nor do I.

So many women think the same as you. My wife doesn't now wear them as high as she used to.

In Toronto there is the Bata shoe museum. (I've never been to it.) But -and I'm no expert - I don't think 6- or 7- inch heels are going out of fashion any time soon, do you?
Some women like them and some don't. It's a question of fashion or comfort. Some of my colleagues wonder how I can wear heels to work (I don't every day). One told me to wear them now while I can because one day I won't be able to wear them anymore, so I like her advice.

Well, from what you say, I think I know which you prefer; fashion is art, I guess:

Getting in a little but here are several of my favorites:

I Saw The Figure 5 In Gold, by Charles Demuth. A very striking graphic.

The Desperate Man, self-portrait by Gustave Courbet. He lived during the Romantic era, and this is his protest against dreamy, idyllic art.

The Vine, by Harriet Frishmuth. In the atrium of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

And one of everybody's favorites, Girl With A Pearl Earring, by Vermeer.

I like the painting Van Gogh did of his bedroom, i had the print, and then I lost it. I dont know where it is.

I think it just reminds me that Van Gogh saw thing even in his own bedroom that gave him pleasure. Like you would think whats so great about painting your own bed? But I think his own space was really improtant to him.
