What is the weather in Arizona like now? Figures once I move to Texas, Arizona starts cooling off :D

I noticed that too. We moved to TX from AZ about a year and a half ago. AZ had a mild summer and TX had an exceptionally hot one. What's up with that?!

I'm in Payson. Now how many of you know where Payson is? I tell people we're safe from terrorists- half the people in AZ don't know where we are so how would the terrorists find us?
I grew up in Yuma and lived there for several years as an adult.

It seems that nowadays everyone knows where Payson is as it's one of the big getaway towns. (Or maybe the real estate is just really expensive there? :p )
I guess it IS getting better known now that the roads are so much improved to get here. We've been here 14 yrs and the population has nearly doubled. My husband and I own a real estate office- sales and rentals, and yes, properties ARE high here.

Anybody else here from Arizona? I skimmed the contents of the folder, and it appears that almost everyone here is from Texas.
I'm from AZ. Where in AZ are you? I'm from Phoenix.

Boy! We drove from Payson to Flagstaff Sunday. Beautiful till we got by Mormon lake (or Mormon Meadow, as my husband says it should be called now- so dry). The snow was heavy and blowing horizontal, the road was snow packed all the way into Flag. We spun off the road once, but thankfully it was an easy slope off with no trees to hit. We picked up our son and left immediately, but a few miles south of the lakes we were out of the snow again.

I am glad you stayed safe!!!I would have no clue on how to drive in the snow!!!
That's understandable, but how about the people who cannot drive in the rain, when we have monsoons every year? You'd think eventually every local would learn to keep out of the washes during T-storms, but no....
