Your question makes little sense. You are talking about a situation in which there is no one to care and then asking "what's the point?" But that's not the situation we are in.

Right, it's a hypothetical situation that will happen if we take the view that all meaning giving beings will go extinct at some point in the future. Do you deny such a reality will happen? If not then what are the implications of that reality?

I do deny that a meaningless reality will exist because I believe God is a meaning/life giving being and that He will last forever.

Because in order for it to matter, a being would have to exist to understand the meaning of it, but in this future scenario all meaning giving/understanding beings have died.

The "end result" is not what matters. Life is not just an endless series of means to an infinitely distant future end that is all that matters. Life is an end in itself. To put it simply, it is the journey that matters, not just a last destination.
