Are there different definitions of the "once saved, always saved" doctrine?

How do we put on Christ by accepting Him as Savior?
How do we walk in Christ by our receiving Him as Lord?
How are we rooted and built up in Him?

Do you get what I'm asking, "How Do These things happen", what is the process which makes them possible for the Believer?

Only by Accepting Christ as Lord?

Rev 21:4 - And He will wipe away ever tear from their eyes, and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning. or crying o pain; the first things have passed away.

That their will be sin in God's perfect heaven is a curious theology.

It seemed like you said you had not love your enemies. If I misread you, I apologize.

Have a very + day.

Christians will do good works, but good works do not make one a Christian. Many atheist do good works.

Good works do not make one a Christian.

Jesus says this about false prophets,
“Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” (Matthew 7:20).

James says,

“Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.” (James 2:18).

One repents of their sins to Jesus by way of prayer and they ask Jesus to save them and to invite Christ into their life. Then one seeks to follow the good ways of Jesus in God’s Word.

And where is the Scripture verse for that statement?
Revelation 3:1-5
"1"To the angel of the church in Sardis write:
He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars, says this: 'I know your deeds, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. 2Wake up, and strengthen the things that remain, which were about to die; for I have not found your deeds completed in the sight of My God. 3So remember what you have received and heard; and keep it, and repent. Therefore if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you. 4But you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their garments; and they will walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. 5He who overcomes will thus be clothed in white garments; and I will not erase his name from the book of life, and I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels."

Jesus can't erase it if it wasn't there to begin with. Also see Revelation 2:10.

First of all, going up during an "altar call" is not what saves. Altar calls aren't even found in the New Testament.

But regardless, would you agree that if Jesus adds you to the Book of Life, that you are saved? That you have taken up that gift "once" as you put it?

Well study Revelation 3:1-5. Read it carefully.
Jesus says that He won't remove some of their names from the Book of Life IF they repent.

I'm not sure if it gets more clear than that. Please just read the scripture as they naturally make themselves clear. Those scripture DO apply to anyone who has been saved, added to the Book of Life.

Carnal works is one thing.
Spiritual works are another thing.

The difference is about WHO the WORKS
Glorify.

No works Glorify God that are Works accomplished BY a man that IS NOT committed to God.

Sin in heaven?
Angels did that and were booted out.
Only Saved and holy men's souls and spirits, go to heaven.
Sin in the high heaven, Gods place?
Never.

Apology accepted.

Jesus also died to sin(Rom 6:10) and we know that He never sinned.
.
Your right and Scripture says this about us.

Rom. 6:11
Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

And? Who said otherwise?

Alter call is simply a man made term that has become synonymous with teachings in scripture for men to confess their sins one to another.

It's a fall back on OT laws, when a man revealed his own belief by obedience to their laws...And the inclusion of teaching a man HOW TO submit their life to Christ.... repent for Disbelief...and claim from their heart They now Believe.

No, an alter call doesn't Save men.
An alter call simply notifies witnesses that particular man IS submitting his Life in Belief To the Lord.

It is the Lord that does the Saving regardless of when or where the man submits his Life to the Lord.

God said that there was conditions for receiving the gift AND keeping the gift, as previously shown.

I don't see theses conditions you speak of?

Where does this confessing take place, on a desert isle, a forest, atop a mountain?

Or is the confession made BEFORE MEN, what men, CHRISTIANS, where are these Christians?

In a Church setting?

Matthew 10:32
Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Sounds sort of like an Alter call to me.

The term "free will" doesn't have to appear in scripture specifically...

You said here in your post #361 that Free Will didn't have to appear in Scripture, now your saying that because (Alter Call) doesn't appear in Scripture, that it is invalid.

Good point but IMO, that was the end of sin in heaven.

Thank you. That would been a very strange theology for a Christian.

Right, the motive for the works is the key( I Cor 13:1-3). It is not the love for man, but our love for God in an effort to glorify Him that makes any work good
