The webmaster of this site is not identified, so we don't know who he is, what his background is, or what his qualifications are for the teaching he is giving. We don't even know whether he is a part of a Christian group under sound leadership. Anyone can set up a webpage and make all sorts of assertions which may, on the face of it, be plausible, but I go by the principle: A good artist always signs his work.

If a person sets up a webpage and keeps his personal details out of it, and remains anonymous, then I ask, what is he hiding?

This Artist does sign his work

The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.

I don't know if the OPs problems are as a result of Yoga or TM or eastern mysticism, or if its a "python" spirit [post#57], or something else. But another poster suggested what is being refered to is a 'kundalini spirit' - that can be released by yogic practices, so maybe the OP knowing her own spiritual history can judge for herself if that might be a point of origin?

Yoga can be a dangerous practice and some Christian counsellors such as Neil T Anderson ask people to renounce the practice in their Steps to Freedom in Christ. I have said this before that (while I don't wish to endorse all his psychology) Carl Jung also warned against dabbling in eastern mysticism because western culture is very naïve and uneducated in those practices, unlike eastern cultures which have practiced these sorts of meditation for centuries. Though he wasn't speaking against it entirely - he saw that Westerners have on the other hand had placed great emphasis on the conscious mind - they therefore have a different point of departure from Orientals in these matters and can end up in difficulties. Eastern forms of meditation can release dormant energies. That's seems to be what a 'kundalini awakening' refers to.

This link explains a bit about it, but from a non-christian standpoint

Why is Kundalini Energy Sometimes Disruptive?

I recall many years ago experiencing a problem something like this, feeling I might lose control - eventually I got to praying and asking God to in effect "put this 'jack' back in its box."
