Where I live carp are trash

Most people around here feel the same way, but a lot of them will still eat carp. I think people started eating carp around here when the Great Depression hit and they were desperate for something to eat (most people around here who eat carp are older people who lived through the Depression or their kids).

I remember the first time I caught a fish...I was pretty little. It was sooo exciting! I couldn't believe I actually reeled it in on my own.
Still try to go every once in a while, fishing's been bad around here lately tho

Fishing is my favorite hobby by far. Im a hardcore bassfisherman at heart, but I also enjoy catching crappie, catfish, and stripers . My personal best was a 17lb hybrid.
