You must be:

You must have:

• a thorough knowledge of pro-life, pro-family issues, including knowledge of the Catholic faith, its beliefs, practices, liturgy, structure and protocol.

You will be asked to:

• <LI class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list .5in">update, modify and maintain existing hli.org website content, including writing and editing HTML and PHP documents, creating Adobe Acrobat files, taking and enhancing digital photographs, and editing graphics; <LI class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list .5in">redesign the website, including a complete overhaul of the site; <LI class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list .5in">oversee/coordinate content migration from static HTML site to a dynamic database backed site; <LI class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list .5in">develop, maintain, and enhance web-based applications primarily using PHP/JavaScript/HTML on a Linux Redhat platform integrated with CPanel; <LI class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list .5in">illustrate concepts by designing mock up websites and pages; <LI class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list .5in">proactively proof, edit, and correct content errors, including copy and broken links; <LI class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list .5in">ensure quality, functionality, and “look and feel” of the site is top-notch; <LI class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list .5in">stay abreast of industry trends and all applicable technology, including scripting, security issues, authoring tools, graphic design tools, and new languages; <LI class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list .5in">assess and report web statistics intelligently and in proper relation to our goals, including evaluating website analytics and initiating changes to site based on conclusions; <LI class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list .5in">ensure visual quality of all digital images on the site, including cropping, color correction and image optimization; <LI class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list .5in">provide creative, intuitive design solutions for page layouts and any vehicles within the site that promote HLI’s mission and site navigation; <LI class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list .5in">refresh website content to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information and images; <LI class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list .5in">monitor site traffic; <LI class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list .5in">work on all other duties as assigned; and
• assent to HLI’s Statement of Faith.
