POD? Slipknot? Linkin Park?! yes, you do need suggestions.

Metallica, Ozzy, Rammstein, Queen, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Guns 'N Roses. I suggest getting their Best Of CDs.

Yeah, but best of cd's usually only include the band's radio singles (ESP. the GnR one......)

But I guess it would be a good place to start.

I know it's a little old school, go to the classics if you truly want to rock. And no rock would be complete with out Led Zeppelin, The Eagles, Pink Floyd, Meatloaf, Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, Kiss, Lynard Skynard and Janis Joplin. I don't care who you are, they never go out of style.

lol, I was gonna pull the "Yes, you should be looking for suggestions" call as well. But then, from the list you put, I'd use it on you as well, so, yeah...

If you're into the harder rock stuff, I'd recommend broadening your horizens a little and trying out some of the more experimental bands like The Mars Volta and Tool. Also try out At The Drive-In. And Muse's album Origin Of Symmetry.

I am a fan of many of the bands in the OP... especially Slipknot (went to their concert last week and got my butt handed to me in the pit, i still hurt!)

I saw As I Lay Dying mentioned, they are good. I like Theory of a Deadman, Smile Empty Soul, Soil (great songs like Redefine and Halo), 12 stones, Breaking Benjamin, Papa Roach, Static-X, and Mudvayne (going to their concert on the 24th of this month).

If you like the bands in the OP, you'll probably like these bands I mentioned too.
