CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

We all know that God doesn't answer some prayers, it says so in the bible. But this thread is for answered prayers, so we can help edify each other, encourage each other. There is a great demand for people to know that there is a God, and that He does answer prayers.

I haven't posted here in awhile, because I was busy, not because God isn't answering my prayers.
1. The bible study group prayed for God to give us wisdom in are lives. Something that would help us, grow in maturity.
Answer - The answer was in the scripture in the very same proverbs chapter we were scheduled to read. He told us to set some goals, and STICK to them, don't turn to the left or the right.
There are only four of us in this group, and everyone of us, has the same exact goals needed, or should have in our lives. 1. Get involved in a church. 2. Build up close friends in a church. 3. Goto some kind of school so we can make enough money, to be a better blessing to the body. 4. Master sin in our lives.
So some extra prayer for the group would be appreciated, and very usefull.
Second prayer. I wanted to listen to a worship song on the radio, because I wanted the words, to express how I felt about God. This song hit it on the head for the time I was thinking about God. So I just simply asked God for the Christian Radio sation to play it.
Answer - Two songs later it was playing.

i've one answered prayer here, my cousin has come back safe and sound from his mission trip to China. We'll be all hearing about it when we have a family dinner some time this week.

Answered prayer for a man in trouble.
I was working(server in a resturant) when a lady ran up to me, and said "call 911".
I went into the kitchen and told the cook to call 911, so I could go back out and see what the problem was.
When I got back to the scene there was a man about 70-80 years old laying on the ground, with his wife by his side. I was freaked about the whole thing because I had never seen this before. Even the cook was freaked when I told him to call 911, in fact I had to demand him to do it 4 times, before he finally reacted.
I said "Is he breathing", at the same time I checked his pulse. She said he was, and I barely found a pulse it was so weak.
About that time a thought came into my head "PRAY FOR HIM!", I froze for a second and again the thought "PRAY FOR HIM, NOW!".
I was really freaked, and noticed her necklace that had a cross on it. I asked her if she was Christian, she said yes. I asked if I could pray for him, she said "go ahead", but she said it in a way that meant, what is prayer going to do for him.
So I prayed for him.
Within 10 to 15 minutes he was back up on his feet, laughing and jokeing. He even demanded to pay his bill, which his wife already paid.

Well, I want to first off praise the Lord for finely getting to meet SUNSTONE last night. Andrew Wommack was a speaker at his church and I went to the service. Not only was I blessed by the ministry of Andrew Wommack but I was blessed by SUNSTONE. God is most certaintly doing a lot of good things in his life. He is blessed and it blessed me so much to hear and see what God is doing in his life.
As far as an answered prayer: about a month ago I posted a request for my job that was going to be having a large lay-off. The lay-off passed me by so fortunately I do not have to look for another job. Thank you all so much for your prayers.
Also, I did not post the request, but I was in need of a room-mate to help share houseing expenses. Praise God, the Lord brought me a room-mate of like-faith and so far it is working wonderfully.
That's all I have time to post today. I will try and post more later.

A couple in my church got the report from their doctor that their young son had leukemia.
They brought him to church and everyone prayed over him. Two weeks later, more tests were done, and the report . . .they could find nothing wrong with him or his blood.
Thank you Jesus!

I have been on Oxygen for over 10 year's ,and Housebound for over 6 year's,God has still blessed me.I was an Evangelist and I have traveled a lot,but I didn't take care of myself,I would go out in all kind's of weather,no heat in the winter and no air in the summer.I would go all day without eating.I have had to sleep in my car in the mountain's in a pile of leaves.I didn't think about it until I was sitting in a wheel chair when I had a stroke.I lost weight down to 99 pounds.I have a small frame body but I did get up to 154 at one time,most of the time I was about 130 pound's.Three diffrent time's the Doctor told my wife I ads going to die,and the last time about 6 month's ago I was dead.The monitor had a straight line across it.My wife told the Doctor,don't you let him die,and he said,Dealie,I am not God.She said no you are not God,but I know God.She started Praying the ambulance crew and other's joined hand's and started Praying THE Moniter started to beep and I woke up Praying.I knew God wasn't through with me yet.I got to thinking I spent all my time Praying for my self.so now I am a Prayer WORRIOR AND AN Interceeder Praying for other people,and I started getting better myself.Praise GOD.Neal

I just noticed this announcement for answered prayers. Here's a copy of the post I made about answered prayers that I posted in the thread in which I had asked for prayers on the same topic.

I felt the need to post an update on my wife.
God has answered our prayers for my wife and she is being healed. Not only that, but she has prayed for years for God to speak to her like she has heard of Him speaking to others. She expected it to be much more than it was like we all do, but it finally happened (or rather she finally listened) and He let her know that the health problems were because she was internalizing stress and worrying too much that caused her problems in the first place. She feels at peace now like never before and her healing is coming very quickly!
Glory to God, another prayer answered and even an additional prayer answered at the same time!

My room mate came home from church Wednesday night with a few praise reports.
1. For years she has had large fibroid lumps in her breasts and under her armpit. The fibroids were very painful and stuck out enough that the lumps could be seen. Anyway, she received prayer the other night and after prayer thay told her to take another woman with her into the restroom to verify the lumps were gone. Praise God, there were no lumps to be found and there is no more pain.
2. My room-mate also had a lot of back problems. She could bend down only a little ways, her hands barely reaching her knees. After prayer Wed. night she can bend and touch the floor and has no back pain. She's even stated riding my excersise bike and is having no problem whatsoever.
3. My room-mate and another woman from the church went to the hospital to visit a lady who attends another church who the doctors say has cancer. They were halfway there when they realized they did not have the womens last name. Instead of turning around and going back to get it they prayed and asked God to show them the way to the womens room.
When they arrived at the hospital, they went to the reception desk and told them, we are here to visit a lady named Camen but we don't know her last name. Can you tell us where her room is.
Of course, the receptionist looked at them like they were from Mars. . .being a customer service rep I can relate. . .and she informed them she would have to have a last name. This is a big hospital and there are a lot of women named Carmen.
They asked, well do you have a special ward for cancer patients. She said, No, we must have a last name. Then the women suddenly looked up and said, well, wait a minute, let me check this room down here. They followed her down the hall to a room, and it was the Carmen my friends were looking for.

I would like to say that God has answered another prayer for me. I have stop smoking after tying on my own for a while. When you truly give it to God, He will work it out. Lord I thank You. You are my Hero!!!!!!!!!

God is so good!!!
I have had this big project at work I have been working on and it has been going rather rough. I seemed to be hitting brick walls at every turn. The deadline is tomorrow and as of this morning, I still had some pretty big gaps to fill. I just decided that I had to have God help me, He was the only one who could make a way. After some intense praying last night and this morning, by noon, the gaps were taken care of and it looks as though everything will be a go for tomorrow!
Praise God for His care of His children! Now, if He can help take care of the ulcer that has formed in my stomach due to all of this!
