Answered Prayers

I am pregnant after 6 years of trying and failing. Out of the blue, this happened, but only after I gave up and gave it to God.


Now if he could help with my worrying, I would be great!!!!

I had people pray that I get aid for college. Initially, I didn't get any, but yesterday I was awarded 10000 in aid.

well I for one KNOW I'm guilty of requesting prayer after prayer and not thanking God enough for answered ones. Even tho I posted a "Thanking Him" thread, I want to post here to encourage each of you and challenge you to look for and post answered prayer requests here ...not only to share the good news of answered prayers with others, but as a testimonty to Him and to praise His name.

God answers my prayers every day to be able to have another day to praise Him, attempt to walk closer to Him, and to be with my family.

Here in the last few days, He's answered prayers and been moving in my life left and right. I've been praying for a long time for Brooke to be moved by the Holy Spirit to get back into church but mainly for God to put someone, anyone, that knows and loves the Lord into her path.

1) Well, He did. A young man that is witnessing to her, sharing with her things that ...quite frankly she NEEDS to hear right now, as she is doubting her own beliefs in the Lord and has been saved since age 8. THANK YOU JESUS!

2) Also, I called out to God yesterday in pure, flesh desperation over my circumstances, as to how in the world I was going to get David out of jail. He sent David's dad. < I honestly didn't think he would do it>

3) I was so upset and overcome w/stress I started hyperventilating <not good w/my asthma history>sweating profusely from head to toe, and got very light headed. I was SO afraid I was going to pass out again and have a relapse, so I prayed that God would help me get control, calm down, and He DID. Here's the kicker. I didn't even have to use my inhaler!!!!!!!!!!

4) I was praying to daddy that David's work would be understanding in what had transpired, and not only for them to allow him to come back to work, but that they would allow us to draw on his wages. They did BOTH! Actually they were more than supportive. PTL and thank you JESUS!!!

5)I've been praying for quite awhile now for us to be able to get our car tags, insurance etc., and didn't know how we were going to. <long story> It will be insured and licensed before today's end.

These are just a few instances of answered prayer in my life recently and I hope you will be compelled to share with others, yours. If not is ok too! God is just SOoooooo good all the time!!

I just wanted to thank you all for your prayers. I think the lord has worked with me and my stubborness. Alot of the time if things don't make sense the way I look it then I quit. This case with my son has tought me patients as well as how to minister to others without getting upset and walking off from them. I am still praying for our son's father . Or 5 year old son needs us both. His mother and father. Miracles have happened in court directly from prayer.Thankyou Jesus our Lord is the TRUTH and our protector of it Thank you Jesus... your prayers mean so much to me and I will keep you all and this forum in mine.

Prayers answered for a healthy new baby and for the safety of the mother. My sister's baby was breached, so family and friends were very worried. I posted a prayer request for their health and protection and in return received many prayers. The baby was born healthy and my sister had a good short labor, thanks to God's grace. Thank you all so much for your prayers! And I thank my Lord and Savior above all for bringing this new baby into the world. Please keep praying that this new child will grow and learn to be a child of God. Also, please pray that God will give the parents wisdom in raising this child to know Jesus.

I have amazing praise report. I hve had a situation in prayer and tlhe Lord knows how much I can not stand court and troubles. My son's father tying to cause me immense trouble and got a Jehova witness girl to call the police claiming I kicked a hole in a door? I prayed for dismisal on this? and IT WAS DISMISSED TODAY! Not only was it dismissed? But it was dismissed before I even got there? I get so so worried? Because of the awful things my son's father has done to me? Even if I am innocent I worry? My pastor told me not to say a word and God had his way of making sure I didn't? I was late? So when I walked in they just handed me the dismissal paper.
It was all God.....

I posted a pray for my sanity thread, I really was having a major melt down I was crying uncontrollably and feeling so helpless. Literally minutes after I posted the tears left and I started to feel better I came back and saw that someone was already praying for me and I know that God is faithful He will not leave me and your prayers prayed away the enemy who is trying to break my spirit and my marriage. Thank you Jesus for these faithful servants and brothers and sisters in Christ. Amen

I had an infection, and I thought I was going to need some antibiotics. Because every time that I have ever had an infection, I needed them.

Well I was all pumped up about God and His abilitys, I said a quick prayer, and it was gone in a day or two.

I can say my prayers have been answered many times, maybe without my knowing it. It can be more than just requests. I love to pray for the sake of enjoyment and serving. Praying for a heart of love for others gives me a great feeling and a better view of life. That constant conversation with God is so great with a stirring and a passionate spirit. I'm very thankful, and I'm so excited about my future with a God who cares.

A little over a month ago I posted the following prayer request:


Prayer Request


I need to lift this boy and his family up in prayer but this kid needs prayer.

His name is Christopher C. he’s about 14 years old; I work with his mother, Carol (I don’t know his dad’s name). They both love the Lord and trust Him as their Savior.

Chris has a tumor in his head near the Pineal Gland (that’s the tiny gland in the center of your head where the brain stem and cerebellum meet right behind your thalamus).

My prayer requests are for wisdom and skill for the doctors, swift healing, comfort for Chris and his family, and that God’s magnificent name be glorified through all of this.

I thank God for all of you that I can ask in a forum such this and know for certain that you’ll pray. God has blessed me so very much. I thank you all for your prayers.


I praise God for His infinite mercy and grace and healing. I thank all of my fellow prayer warriors for your prayers. Chris is healed.

Pray for me please. I need my tooth pulled and can't go to the dentist till next month! I am in heavy pain from it and even have a lasting head ake from it. I can't even sleep. Please pray for me.

Well I want to report that the same day I posted this the pain went away and I slept perfectly fine. The pain stayed gone. But I had a swelling on my jaw. My wisdom tooth needed pulling. It was pushing into the other tooth and cuting my gums bad. So I thought I should still get it pulled. Cause the swelling seemed to be absess (at least that is what I thought). But not only did the pain go away, but when I woke up two days later, the tooth stoped pushing against the other, and the gums came up over it. Not only that, but the swelling left. I don't even need the dentist.

LOL And all I asked for was for the pain to go. God does far above what we even ask or think!

Well i'm new here and havnt posted anything in this forum yet, but would just like to say that i've been having a little trouble completly believing in my religion, and prayed a few times that i would find some way of being able to ask questions and learn more about the religion, but since i'm one of those super-shy people its not something that would be easy for me to do face-to-face....
But I found this site, and its pretty much everything I was looking for....so it just makes me believe a little bit more....

well I havent posted a prayer request in here but I just wanted to give God the glory for what he has done. I had a very healthy baby a month ago tomorrow so I praise God for that and for providing even when I didnt know how things were going to get done. But to God be the Glory he alway makes a way out of no way.

Just a couple of days ago, I requested prayer for my daughter who has a friend that is not good for her. I asked that if God didn't want this girl in my daughter's life that HE would remove her. Well....... guess who's transferring schools??????? Yep! That girl. God is good!!! We still need prayer that God will continue to work out His will in my daughter's life & that she will turn around, but that one answer that God gave me so quickly meant everything.

Praise God!!! Last prayer request I asked for prayer for my son Jonathan (8) who has ADHD. He has a new Dr. and new medications that seem to be helping with is anger and Impulsive behavior. People from all over the world gave me great information and prayer. God's work is awesome.
