CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have an old friend from childhood who had been missing for ten years and presumed dead.
I just received an email that he showed up at our neighborhood reunion. He's not well but he's alive.

Last week I asked for prayers for 6 youth who were preparing for their confirmation.
I would like to let you know that everything went so well! They did an excellent job in their parts of the service and sharing their experience of the classes.
I was so proud of them!

posted a prayer request about baby Collin. He went home today!! Praise God! I still would ask that you pray for him, not just for his health, but that God will be with him always.

Thank you, blynn. Collin has gained almost an entire pound since he has been home. He goes to the doctors tomorrow to see if they can find exactly what is wrong with him. In all things let the Lord be glorified!!

Baby Collin is doing well. He does have down syndrome, and is possibly deaf. He has gained 2 pounds, and is rolling over already. Just pray for his development, and for his parents. They are young, and distressed over his condition. I pray that they are enveloped with God's peace, wisdom, and love.

Answered prayer, gee where do I begin..... How about this one; vehicle was messed up. A gentleman who met my husband only one time felt 'led by the Lord to help us, didn't know our circumstances', handed my hubby 100.00 told us to use as needed. Car repair cost 90.00! God bless this man, please. Answered prayer last week; worried about school clothes for my three children. We have one income coming in, came home the other day and found 5 trashbags full of clothes left on my front porch! Worried about groceries, neighbor surprised me with cleaning out her freezer, have more than enough now, thank you Lord. Last christmas, someone in my church anonymously gave us $400.00! Church camp in June, no money to send kids, money was provided for this.... the list goes on and on and on....
