my answered prayer... a month ago i asked for prayer on my course transfer, and i just phoned today, they approved it! thank you Lord!

I was laid off for 3 months at the first of the year.

Something that a lot of other people are experiencing

after the unfortunate tragedies that have tested all of us.

I was on the verge of total financial ruin, and had technically

lost everything.  I was determined to fight my way back,

land a new job, bring my bills current, and provide a living

for my family.  Without God's help, none of this would have been

possible.  My daily prayers and the re-dedication of my life

was rewarded.

I would like to praise God for the blessings in my life. I praise Him for giving me such a wonderful family. I thank Him for answering my prayers and allowing me the chance to spread the Word to the lukewarm Christians and non-Christians of my family, to my younger brother and my father. I prayed for it, and He gave it to me.

Praise God for affirming my faith. I placed my faith within God through fast, through prayer, through obedience, and He has given unto me more than I deserve. For five days, addiction has left my veins, as it always does when I have faith and live by the Spirit. Last night, in the throws of doubt, He answered two of my prayers immediately and simultaneously.

The Lord has answered my prayers that He make the way clear with my roommate, and I was given opportunity to preach the Word, and soon I hope that my brother in Christ will become on fire for God, as the Lord has shown me is proper. I pray only that he keep me lit hot and that He stoke the coals daily and not let me stumble or backslide in His ways.

I thank the Lord for giving me the Spirit, for my will is flawed, and only by becoming dead to sin and alive to Christ have I ever been able to keep His commandments. Daily, I ask Him for this, daily I receive it, as one receives bread, save it is far more precious to me than any bread.

I praise him for my prayer request from old, which was prayed nightly for two years with no sign of progress. Upon return from the mission field, I found it fulfilled. Almighty God is Lord over all creation, Lord over all domains, and He will give to his children and to his servants in His own due time and in His own unique way. But praise be to Him, for now a new lamb has entered the fold, and she grows daily in her faith.

Praise be to God for making my path straight, for filling my life with His love, for being with me as I walk and in my mind as I think. Praise be to a God who can take me, the lowly and the unworthy, and give such beautiful gifts.

All praise, here on Earth and there in Heaven, be to the Master, the Lord, the Father. Abba Father.

Amen.

Me and a friend prayed for a coworker who was abusing drugs.
My coworker who I will call T, is a back sliding Christian of I don't know how many years, but it was alot.
His wife on the other hand was doing well, with spiritual growth.
She was going to some Christian classes to learn about gifts. I knew this relationship was in trouble, not on the surface but in the future.

So we told him we were going to pray, he didn't want us to because he knew it would work. We did it anyways!

Well 2 months later T and his wife split in a nasty fight because of adultery. It seemed to be the worst, but I knew it was going to just be the bottom of his rope.
A friend of his shortly died of a drug overdose after the split, this was it he said.He came to the crossroads, and it was time to make a decision.
He made the right one, to turn his life back over to the Lord. He is going to church with me on Sunday!

Its too bad about his friend, she had 3 kids, and her husband was in jail. But that tragidy turned his life around as well. God didn't want this thing to happen but he will use it for the good.

T's relationship WILL be patched back together. How do I know you ask, well because I prayed for it!!

I prayed for the bible study that I goto on Thursday nights. I noticed a spirit of fear in it, so I focused my prayer on that last night. Well I got there and it was the most fun bible study night I have ever had anywhere.
We had a ball, laughing and learning.
God told me to tell others to pray for the group, because the devil knows when we meet, and is there waiting for us.
Thank you God for your wisdom and understanding.

I had a prayer answered last night. For a long time I have wanted to be part of a bible study that was focused on discipleship. My church has just started one. I went to the first one last night... it was wonderful.

Praise the Lord!!!

Me and my workout partner had bad knees. We couldn't lift weights with them. My knee would click when ever I did squats, and would just flat out hurt when I did extensions.

Well Wed. we both stood on God's word and recieved a healing in our knees. Thurs we lifted with our legs and they were solid!!

I laid hands on a co-worker who had a sore throat and something wrong with her ears.
After I prayed for her, she took a nap and woke up healed.

I prayed for two co-workers today, one for her back the other for her knee and upset stomach.

The back felt %80 percent better after 2 hours, and the stomach was totally better, but the knee felt the same she said, but its only been an hour for her prayer.

I am a server and sept and oct are the slowest months to serve.
It has gotten to the point that I can't make my bills, so out of fear I choose not to pay my tithes. The money problem only seemed to grow.

Well last wed night church service convicted me of sin, for not believing God. I confessed it went and destroyed the pornagraphy in my life, and declared to never touch it again and believe God that He has set me free.
I also decided to pay my tithes no matter what happens.
Sunday came around, and I payed my tithes plus a huge free offering.
Monday night turned out to be one of the best nights ever for a monday night. Tuesday I went into work and not one reservation was on the books, by the end of lunch there was 30 on the books.
Then a party of 7 reserved a spot, and I told the manager Malichi 3:8-12

That night I made the second most money I have ever made in my life.

Brother was weak prayer.

My worship leader Chris was confessing to me how he was feeling burned out.
He does alot for the church and just got married.
Things were not going to well for him over all, and he was impatient at the gym when we worked out.

So we talked a little about it, and when he left God told me to go and pray for him. I also stuck him in this bible study group for prayer.
This morning he confessed that he was doing things in his own strength, and not relying on the Lord. He is short and his pride kept him from depending on the Lord. The Lord told him to learn how to depend on him know, while he is young so that he will do it with ease later in life.

Well today at the gym, he was a mad man. He was going off on the weights, all pumped up and in a great mood. He said he felt alot better after I prayed for him.
Thank the Lord for renewing his strength and joy!!!

Does God answer anyones prayers in this forum?

Well I am going to fix that, by telling you my personal testimonies.
So far I was just giving you answered prayers that happened that day or week, but now I will share past experiences. I suggest everyone do the same.

My first experiance.
When I got saved, later that week I was laying down and wondering if the experience I had was really God. So I prayed, "God if your there heal my ankle" with in 5 minutes I felt a twing and it felt alot better.
I broke it and mangled it many weeks before, and there didn't seem hope for me to walk without surgery.
With in 6 weeks I was playing basketball, and with in 2 years I was jumping higher than I had ever jumped before off of the same ankle.
