1. Acording to basic principles of the universe, nothing is created. Therefore everything is just altered weather it be solids or liquids, or, matter and anti-matter. So why do people say god created things, thats imposible. Maybe though god has the power to alter the contineum of our matter/anit-matter constant. But heres the fact, god never created anything.

2. If god did create things why did he create abortion, terrorism, the halocaust, AIDS, etc...

3.Why did god make scientology if all he wants people to do is worship him, thats taking away worshipers.

4.Why does god want to be worshiped all the time?

5.Why do people take the bible literaly. Sure, its good to look for it for advice but you cant believe all of its true? I mean, look at scientology. It was a science fiction novel and now 5 mil people worldwide believe it.

6.2000 years ago people thought the earth was flat, and that it was the center of the universe. But they assumed this because it was BELIEF. Now we know those are all false because we have proven them with FACTS. So eventually, since the bible is BELIEF we will prove it wrong using FACTS.

1. That's an Apologetics question in disguise.

2. That's a blatant Apologetics question.

3. God didn't make Scientology, L. Ron Hubbard did.

4. That's an Apologetics question.

5. More Apologetics. If you want to discuss literalism in Genesis, it would be appropriate for this subforum.

6. Actually 2,000 years ago, not only did science know the world wasn't flat, but the circumferance had been fairly accurately measured.

All of your questions are based on inaccuracies or belong in Apologetics.

1. Acording to basic principles of the universe, nothing is created.

The word created in the Bible is the same word they use for when they cut down a tree and make something out of the wood. It does not imply that there was nothing there before.

2. If god did create things why did he create abortion, terrorism, the halocaust, AIDS, etc...

Man and the devil have made a mess out of God's creation. But He is in the process of restoring it back to His origional intention and purpose.

3.Why did god make scientology if all he wants people to do is worship him, thats taking away worshipers.

God did not make it, it is the teaching of man.

4.Why does god want to be worshiped all the time?

We can do things man's way or we can do things God's way. When we worship God we acknowledge that His way is the best way and we express our desire to follow His plan and purpose for us. Also we give thanks for all He has done for us.

5.Why do people take the bible literaly.

There are basic rules for Bible interpretation that people learn when they go to Bible School.

6.2000 years ago people thought the earth was flat,

That is a urban myth that has been falsifed.

I didn't know that. How do you know?

2. If god did create things why did he create abortion, terrorism, the halocaust, AIDS, etc...
Does one create events in the same way as creating matter?

3.Why did god make scientology if all he wants people to do is worship him, thats taking away worshipers.
Free will?

4.Why does god want to be worshiped all the time?
Who doesn't!

5.Why do people take the bible literaly. Sure, its good to look for it for advice but you cant believe all of its true?
It's easier than trying to sort out the crazy bits from the reasonable bits.

Whatever you say.

Ok.
2. If god did create things why did he create abortion, terrorism, the halocaust, AIDS, etc...
Explain how abortion, terrorism, the haolcaust, and AIDS are just altered, and not man made.

3.Why did god make scientology if all he wants people to do is worship him, thats taking away worshipers.
Explain scientology via your alteration theory.

4.Why does god want to be worshiped all the time?
Why do humans want to be worshipped all the time? Before you say they don't, answer this:
Did you ever want to be famous? Popular? Noticed?

5.Why do people take the bible literaly. Sure, its good to look for it for advice but you cant believe all of its true?
Why do people take science literally? Why do people take anything literally?

Cool. Can you show me some of those facts now please?

Hello, yivkX360 -- nice to meet you --

1. Don't confuse creatio ex materia with creatio ex nihilo. God did both; and when He finished, then He instituted what we call the First Law of Thermodynamics.

2. He didn't -- those came long afterward.

3. He didn't -- that came long afterward.

4. Because if we don't keep our focus on Him, the devil will have his contingent standing by to take His place.

5. People take the Bible literally, because not taking the Bible literally can lead to scientology, scientism, evolution, you name it.

6. Yes, scientists taught the earth was flat, and Bible-believers even bought into it -- (I'm sure I would have). Scientists even used to teach Pluto was a planet; but the Bible is more interested in Truth, than fact; since facts change with each new page.

I hope that helps! :)

you all keep saying that man created AIDS and the halocaust, but acording to the bible god sends every idea to people.

The earth is not Eden, but a crucible of pain, suffering, and death. It is God's plan that it be so. It is all part of His purpose, to restore His great spirit kingdom. It only makes sense to those who have His spirit of understanding.

Why do you resurrect a post from someone who had a total of 5 posts and whose last activity on the board was more than 4 years ago?

6. Yes, scientists taught the earth was flat,
Please show us a scientist who taught the earth was flat?
and Bible-believers even bought into it -- (I'm sure I would have).
You would no doubt have used those Bible verses that can be interpreted to imply a flat earth to tell Erasthenese that his Science could take a hike.
Scientists even used to teach Pluto was a planet;
Scientists have changed how they classify Pluto as we have learned more about both Pluto and other objects in the Solar System. Science does not claim to have absolute truth. What does the Bible have to say about Pluto?

but the Bible is more interested in Truth, than fact; since facts change with each new page.

The earth is not Eden, but a crucible of pain, suffering, and death.
You guys have such a depressing outlook. No wonder you guys look foward to The Rapture.

It is God's plan that it be so. It is all part of His purpose, to restore His great spirit kingdom.
It sure is taking him a loooong time to get around to it. Is he preoccupied with something else?

It only makes sense to those who have His spirit of understanding.
Or have deluded themselves.

Are you saying, 'Where is the promise of his coming'?
Also, we do look on the bright side: the ONLY bright side. :)
