1. Acording to basic principles of the universe, nothing is created.
What principle is this?

Therefore everything is just altered weather it be solids or liquids, or, matter and anti-matter. So why do people say god created things, thats imposible.
I'm pretty sure, you don't understand the angle they are coming from.

Maybe though god has the power to alter the contineum of our matter/anit-matter constant. But heres the fact, god never created anything.
Uh I would ask for you to show how this is the case, but it will be a pointless endeavour... like trying to prove Gravity.

2. If god did create things why did he create abortion, terrorism, the halocaust, AIDS, etc...
Variety?

3.Why did god make scientology if all he wants people to do is worship him, thats taking away worshipers.
Maybe he didn't.

4.Why does god want to be worshiped all the time?
He likes it.

Just how I like Ben and Jerrys, which I would eat all the time... but I don't want to become massively obese... well not until I'm 30.

5.Why do people take the bible literaly. Sure, its good to look for it for advice but you cant believe all of its true? I mean, look at scientology. It was a science fiction novel and now 5 mil people worldwide believe it.
Dunno, you would have to ask the ones who take it literally. I am sure they will get back to you.

6.2000 years ago people thought the earth was flat,
Um, no they didn't, hell even Eratosthenes pretty much calculated it's circumference ca 250 BC.

and that it was the center of the universe.
In an infinitely expanding universe... maybe they are correct. But then again so is any other point within it really.

But they assumed this because it was BELIEF. Now we know those are all false because we have proven them with FACTS. So eventually, since the bible is BELIEF we will prove it wrong using FACTS.
Lol
give those a thinker
Not a second thought.

6. Yes, scientists taught the earth was flat, and Bible-believers even bought into it -- (I'm sure I would have). Scientists even used to teach Pluto was a planet; but the Bible is more interested in Truth, than fact; since facts change with each new page.

Do you like to just make stuff up and go ahead with common ignorance? it's seems to be your forte.

The promise of his coming is somewhere in the Bible.

It is the coming that is a little late.

Naaaah, things aren't bad enough.........yet.

yeah... right... Death is the only way out. That is your "bright side." Sounds like the logic that people who commit suicide use.
I'd say science teaches that as well.

Ever heard of 'heat death'?

An old story... most likely I´ll get the details wrong, but the gist of it:

A group of (people / animals / mice /aliens) want to have a nice (dinner / cheesecake / green glob of goo), but something is missing. So one of them is send out to get it. He goes reluctantly, telling the others to wait for him and not touch the object of desire as long as he isn´t around. They promise. He goes. They wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. And... you get the idea. After an insane and not in any reasonable way justifiable time of waiting one of the waiting says "I don´t think he is going to come back... let´s start without him."

As soon as they start to get to the (object of choice) the one who went jumps out from behind the curtain where he had been hiding the whole time: "I knew I couldn´t trust you!"

If so, then where did the first material/energy come from?

a. don't know.
b. nowhere.
c. outside of this universe
d. a super super whitehole
e. None of the above. It is a wrong question.

Wake up, kid.

Hey, Juvi -- you realize you're trying to lecture to someone who bailed on this forum four years ago, right?

No, that was not a rhetorical question.

Many things must happen before Christ returns. That his return is imminent is wished for by every generation of Christians, or so it seems. The old and new testaments are filled with end-time prophetic events that just haven't happened yet. That is not to say that they couldn't happen very quickly.

What does that have to do with what I was discussing with oldwiseguy? Why do you keep going off on weird tangents?
Weird tangents?

Here are your exact words:
yeah... right... Death is the only way out.

Isn't that what science teaches?

Yup -- there are no prophecies concerning the Rapture.

In fact, Paul calls it a 'mystery'.

1 Corinthians 15:51 51 ¶ Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Physics disagrees :p

Meh...

Is that really a fact?

2. If god did create things why did he create abortion, terrorism, the halocaust, AIDS, etc...
Satan. Also, the Fall.

It's a bit late for epistemology :p
