Are you saying, 'Where is the promise of his coming'?
What principle is this?1. Acording to basic principles of the universe, nothing is created.
I'm pretty sure, you don't understand the angle they are coming from. Therefore everything is just altered weather it be solids or liquids, or, matter and anti-matter. So why do people say god created things, thats imposible.
Uh I would ask for you to show how this is the case, but it will be a pointless endeavour... like trying to prove Gravity.Maybe though god has the power to alter the contineum of our matter/anit-matter constant. But heres the fact, god never created anything.
Variety?2. If god did create things why did he create abortion, terrorism, the halocaust, AIDS, etc...
Maybe he didn't.3.Why did god make scientology if all he wants people to do is worship him, thats taking away worshipers.
He likes it.4.Why does god want to be worshiped all the time?
Dunno, you would have to ask the ones who take it literally. I am sure they will get back to you.5.Why do people take the bible literaly. Sure, its good to look for it for advice but you cant believe all of its true? I mean, look at scientology. It was a science fiction novel and now 5 mil people worldwide believe it.
Um, no they didn't, hell even Eratosthenes pretty much calculated it's circumference ca 250 BC.6.2000 years ago people thought the earth was flat,
In an infinitely expanding universe... maybe they are correct. But then again so is any other point within it really.and that it was the center of the universe.
LolBut they assumed this because it was BELIEF. Now we know those are all false because we have proven them with FACTS. So eventually, since the bible is BELIEF we will prove it wrong using FACTS.
Not a second thought.give those a thinker
6. Yes, scientists taught the earth was flat, and Bible-believers even bought into it -- (I'm sure I would have). Scientists even used to teach Pluto was a planet; but the Bible is more interested in Truth, than fact; since facts change with each new page.
No, I asked was he preoccupied? Isn't that clear enough? Are you saying, 'Where is the promise of his coming'?
yeah... right... Death is the only way out. That is your "bright side." Sounds like the logic that people who commit suicide use. Also, we do look on the bright side: the ONLY bright side.![]()
Sorry, no. It didn't.-- ouch! -- that had to have stung!
The promise of his coming is somewhere in the Bible.
It is the coming that is a little late.
I'd say science teaches that as well.yeah... right... Death is the only way out. That is your "bright side." Sounds like the logic that people who commit suicide use.
No, I asked was he preoccupied? Isn't that clear enough?
Haven´t touched the cheese yet?
An old story... most likely I´ll get the details wrong, but the gist of it:
1. Acording to basic principles of the universe, nothing is created. Therefore everything is just altered weather it be solids or liquids, or, matter and anti-matter. So why do people say god created things, thats imposible. Maybe though god has the power to alter the contineum of our matter/anit-matter constant. But heres the fact, god never created anything.
If so, then where did the first material/energy come from?
a. don't know.
b. nowhere.
c. outside of this universe
d. a super super whitehole
e. None of the above. It is a wrong question.
Wake up, kid.
A material/energy making God did it.If so, then where did the first material/energy come from?
a. don't know.
b. nowhere.
c. outside of this universe
d. a super super whitehole
e. None of the above. It is a wrong question.
Wake up, kid.
You asked, rhetorically, what was taking Him so looooooong.
I'd say science teaches that as well.
Ever heard of 'heat death'?
No, that was not a rhetorical question.
Weird tangents? What does that have to do with what I was discussing with oldwiseguy? Why do you keep going off on weird tangents?
yeah... right... Death is the only way out.
Yup -- there are no prophecies concerning the Rapture. Many things must happen before Christ returns. That his return is imminent is wished for by every generation of Christians, or so it seems. The old and new testaments are filled with end-time prophetic events that just haven't happened yet. That is not to say that they couldn't happen very quickly.
Physics disagrees1. Acording to basic principles of the universe, nothing is created.
Meh...Therefore everything is just altered weather it be solids or liquids, or, matter and anti-matter.
Is it?So why do people say god created things, thats imposible.
Is that really a fact?Maybe though god has the power to alter the contineum of our matter/anit-matter constant. But heres the fact, god never created anything.
Satan. Also, the Fall.2. If god did create things why did he create abortion, terrorism, the halocaust, AIDS, etc...
Satan. Also, the Fall.3.Why did god make scientology if all he wants people to do is worship him, thats taking away worshipers.
Sata- oh. Umm...4.Why does god want to be worshiped all the time?
Satan!5.Why do people take the bible literaly. Sure, its good to look for it for advice but you cant believe all of its true? I mean, look at scientology. It was a science fiction novel and now 5 mil people worldwide believe it.
It's a bit late for epistemology6.2000 years ago people thought the earth was flat, and that it was the center of the universe. But they assumed this because it was BELIEF. Now we know those are all false because we have proven them with FACTS. So eventually, since the bible is BELIEF we will prove it wrong using FACTS.
Hey, Juvi -- you realize you're trying to lecture to someone who bailed on this forum four years ago, right?
