  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I confess, I have a problem with drag queens. Why do they want to represent what to me i such a distortion of womanhood, I mean with all that make-up, high heels and other nonsense. It bugs me when women dress this way. Why would a man?

‘Whatever happened to Fay Wray?
That delicate satin draped frame.
As it clung to her thigh, how I started to cry
'Cos I wanted to be dressed......just the same.’

Dr. Frank-N-Furter.

'Don't dream it................be it!'

I know right? how come America doesn't get any cool legends like? that we have dumb things like bigfoot.

You've never been to New Jersey, apparently.

We have a an entire magazine dedicated to all weird things and legends in the state.

We have the Jersey Devil, The Blue Hole (which James Rolfe, aka the Angry Video Game Nerd, made a short film about), The Devil's Tree, abandoned psychiatric hospitals and amusement parks, various ghosts and monsters, and other such fun.

There's some neat stuff in Illinois too. Lots of occult legends. It's great if you're into that stuff like I am. :)

I did some exploring in NJ and other parts of the East Coast. I'd love to do more if I could afford to move out there right now. Definitely considering the Maryland/Virginia area.

Well okay we have a few good ones. like the winodiago (I think that's how its spelled) that possess people and gives them such an appetite they not only eat other people sometimes but also the tips of their fingers.

l live in its traditional area. At night in the woods when the loons age making noises, man that’s scary.

They probably want to get on the cover of Men’s Health. :D

Currently enjoying playing Sonic Generations.

This game takes me back to my childhood where I played the orignal Sonic games on the Sega Genesis. Although, I wish Sonic Generations was entirely in 3D. I never cared much for the three dimensional Sonic Games. By the time the Dreamcast came out, I was pretty much done with Sonic. The new character designs sucked, and a once strong game series suddenly became mediocre. Even the Gameboy Advance games were not that great. It substituted flashy character animations for less fluid game-play.

I also have little idea who some of the new characters in the Sonic universe are. There seems to be some crocodile guy, who looks to be pretty generic and bland. He seems like he would have looked like a hip character back in the early 2000s, but nowadays he just looks dated and stupid. And eww, the characters actually talk. At least with Nintendo they have the courtesy of limiting the number of times their mascot characters have audible speaking parts. Instead preferring to rely mostly on subtitles.

Oh well, still a fun game.

Weird, I never really liked Mario as a kid (except for Mario Kart).

Although most of my friends (and I) had Sega consoles, so I never really got the chance to really play the games. And when the 3D generation came around, it was mostly PlayStation.

As I got older I played Super Mario 64 and whatnot, and yeah I missed out on some fun games.

My next podcast has a segment about the animated Scooby-Doo series and how it evolved / was rebooted 11 different times. The twelfth incarnation of the show starts this year.

1. Scooby-Doo Where Are You?
2. The New Scoob-Doo Movies
3. The Scooby-Doo Show (renamed The Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour, Scooby-Doo Laff-A-Lympics, and then Scooby's All Stars)
4. Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo
5. Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo (renamed Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show and the Scooby & Scrappy Doo/Puppy Hour)
6. The All New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show (renamed The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries)
7. The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo
8. A Pup Named Scooby-Doo
9. What's New Scooby-Doo?
10. Shaggy And Scooby-Doo Get a Clue
11. Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated
12. And the upcoming Be Cool Scooby-Doo

My favorite was #2 which guest starred all sorts of real and fictional celebrities (Phyllis Diller, Don Knotts, the Adams Family, Batman and Robin, Tim Conway, Johnathan Winters and more)

Thanks!

I love that mystery van...

I have recently started working out.

I have been small framed all my life, and the constant taunting about it has become so tiresome. "lol, you look like a girl" etc..

I have always been like literally the smallest guy wherever I go. Not necessarily height wise, but just overall. I don't even know how I get women to be attracted to me, I just don't ask. Lol.

My only worries is about how much I can bulk up. I'll never look like Arnie (nor do I want too, lol) but every little bit will help.
