Matt. 23:9
Why was yesterday, in particular, the day of James?
I’m sorry, but I don’t keep ‘saint days’.That’s when he was martyred.
“How do you know that’s when he was martyred?”
The same reason why we know which books make up the New Testament.

Ok. So Gamaliel did then, but I bet Paul was top of the classno one said St Paul expects to be called those things, although he did refer to himself as a father and Christians as saints.
no one worships anyone other than God here, so that's irrelevant. and neither Paul nor Mary had PhDs either.
and we do listen to Christ.
I would rather focus on the days that Jesus was sacrificed and resurrected.

And counted it all as dung.
I’m not going to fall for that old athanasius heresy. That’s two days a year. The Lord also did something on Saturday in between dying and resurrecting. Do you know what He did on Saturday? (Hint: It’s in the NT)
How do you know which books go into the New Testament?
I’m not going to fall for that old athanasius heresy.
The books in n/t? I presume you’re talking about the council who chose the final canon? And the apocrypha?
Going to sleep now. Goodnight & speak tomorrow

Just saying
Google itI’m intrigued.
Pray tell what an Athanisian heresy is?
Which council chose the “final canon?” I was under the impression that the canon developed over time, but if you can pinpoint for me the exact council that chose the final canon, as I’m very curious.
Ok Thankyou handmaiden. Will read it when I get a momentPsalm27 - I would be grateful if before posting on this thread again you would read, or re-read the SOP for TAW Statement of Purpose - The Ancient Way - Eastern Orthodox Statement of Purpose

really admired athanasius at first. Taught me a valuable lesson, about worshipping men rather than The Lord JesusI use Bing, but here’s the first result in which Athanasius is a heretic:
Athanasius Schneider’s heresy of Feeneyism versus the Council of Trent
Looks like Roman Catholic in-fighting. Is that what you’re talking about?
Non response. Therefore you are simply engaging in slander.Google it
