Not sure why you equate books on angels to worship of them?

In the context of the Christian Community forums, it means Eastern Orthodox Christians. When new threads appear on the home page and recent posts, it doesn't inform the person clicking the link where the thread was created and people often charge into a thread without realising the manner in which they are posting is in violation of the specific rules for the Christian Community forums.
Hence Catholics posting a new thread in OBOB will preface with "Catholics only" and Eastern Orthodox posting a new thread in TAW will preface with "Orthodox only" to give a couple of examples, to try and prevent people from unintentionally breaking the rules and being disciplined by the Mods.

I used to be rcc, tried Christian spiritualism??, never used a Bible at either of those.
Then Methodism (Wesley worship) and finally, evangelical nutcases.
Then freedom...

Which would you suggest is the specific way? Book by book? Up to Psalms now. Whew!

Whose fault is that? Did you not know of the existence of the Bible when you were RC? That's what's funny about former Catholics: "We never read the Bible." Correction: You never read the Bible. I've been to Catholic mass a dozen times, and they read the Bible every time I went. Old and New Testaments. Is there a proclamation in the RCC that says the laity cannot possess a Bible in their home? I don't think so, so neglecting to read the Bible as a Catholic is none other than your own fault. Using that as an excuse to leave Catholicism is on you alone. And I say all this as an Orthodox who have long standing tensions with the RCC.

Yes, I know that was my fault. I sometimes did read Genesis 1 at home, but didn’t get any farther (I do believe in a literal creation now though ) don’t remember being exhorted to read The Bible-especially alone. Prayer book, yes, rosary, catechism etc.
The Christian spiritualist ‘church’ was witchcraft, pure and simple. No mention of Christ, ever! We did sing rcc hymns though.
Wesleyism was a clever distraction.
our evangelical church in particular was being run by liars.
Jesus is The Word/Logos but when it comes to study. There’s only one book

You obviously entered the thread with the intention to 'teach', when the rules of the congregational forums are that visitors may post in fellowship or ask questions. If you see something which you think is contrary to Scripture then the polite thing to do is ask us why we do that when you believe Scripture says something else. If you disagree with our answer then at least with us you have the option of debating in the St Justin Martyr subforum. You won't find that option available anywhere else. We are quite comfortable with being challenged about our faith, just don't do it in The Ancient Way or you will end up falling foul of the mods.
