If you didn't get the Holy Spirit from Jesus, Shaman, how do you know you have experienced the same thing? You couldn't have experienced the same thing because the Holy Spirit is Jesus inside us. .
How do the "experiences" compare? I think we are hooked on "correct belief" here. But if we actually looked past the "beliefs" and instead looked at the "experiences" of the Spirit of God itself, would the experiences and awareness of God's Spirit be just as alive within Shaman, or even myself, as it is for you, Carico? I would say for myself anyway, that the answer is absolutely "YES"!!

Which leads me to believe that there is something more going on with Christ and the Spirit of God than what you are wanting to be aware of.

Actually I have been where you are now. I believed your Bible many years ago and then discarded it when it was obviously not the truth.

I see both sides, you don't appear to be able to see that anyone can have faith, or an intimate relationship with the Divine, or fulfillment in a religion that is not a miror of yours. IF there is anyone on this thread that seems unable to see both sides... well it's not me.

Actually God is this mist, man, it's a cerebral experience I had the other day, like, you know love, man. yeah, I know God. Jesus doesn't know as much as me. I connect with the spiritual nature and the love floats around me. i saw her the other day...my goddess...she's real, man. She told me I'm going to heaven and i believe her because I'm right. I have to be right because i felt it.

oh dont bother. she doesn't want to be bothered with our true beliefs, only what will make her feel justified to hate us.
Christians search for justification to hate those
who are different?

Given my life experiences as I grew up... I'm inclined
to believe that sweeping generalization.

Thankfully, there are a few who saved me from that
mindset.

However,,,, the majority seek to justify their hate
for what they perceive as 'sin'. And don't give
me that 'love the sinner' smokescreen. Hate is hate;
regardless. And hate is bred from ignorance, and
hate results in violence.

And this is how Christianity has taught you to respond
to others different than you? Condescending, judgemental, and mocking. As it has been pointed
out, you are accomplishing nothing more than tearing
down the religion you claim to represent.

Where does your hate and sarcasm originate from?
May I ask?

You bring up some great, great questions? I thank you!

What IS God? Is God a "mist"? How does one know, from the experiential side, if they in fact live in the presence of God? Is it all based upon "correct belief"? Or if and when one gets past "correct beliefs", how is the Divine, as "experienced" with in ones heart and soul different than the person sitting across from me who follows a spiritual path different than I? What IS that connection with the Spirit of God like as one unites with the Divine?

You're post wasn't a re-iteration,,,, it was a Cheech
and Chong parody insenuating those who argue
against you are pot heads.

Why do you treat others in this manner? Is this
what Christianity taught you?

What the, who spoke of hating Jesus?
I speak for myself here: Jesus is my Lord and Savior and i will be nothing without him. The Bible says in

John 6:63
"The Flesh counts for nothing; the spirit gives life."

Therefore i do not worship a HUMAN, servant of God. I WORSHIP THE LIVING WORD OF GOD, Which is GOD. Huge difference. some people assume we worship the human jesus, not at all. If anyone can recall how Paul saw Jesus, that is how he Looks. The Son of God is a SPIRIT not a human. The HUMAN Jesus, was only a servant. the LIVING Jesus, is what we call "The WORD". NO not the bible. LoL i can't believe people actually think we worship the bible, the bible is only another vessal. The Human Jesus is also a vessal.

1 John 5:6:

"This is the one who came by water and blood."

Anyone ever wondered what this meant? Who knew that water means ink! "Water" is the Scripture. "Blood" is the human vessal, who we love so well. But the Word of God, comes from God, The Voice of God, comes from God, it is God. And this is who we worship. we dont know the TRUE name of the WORD of GOD. the only thing close to who It is, is JESUS.

We can't forget the spirit, but thats another story, Havoc is close to it, but not close enough.

Havoc is on to something, with that Goddess concept. but if i speak what i know, people like Carico might slice me in half, not that s/he will, but s/he might.

wow, if only you guys knew... well some of you do.. i don't know if any of you are ready.

Carico, Hi im the Future lol.. Things are going to come into the light, the truth is going to be uncovered. I hope you're ready. the Spirit is urging for the truth to come out. And She can't wait for her Groom to come back.

Carico you have to update yourself.. Your trying to murder with the Sword. But all you're doing is cutting them into tiny little peices, creating more and more of these people you claim are "atheists". wheres the Love?

Shaman i thank you for being the first to thank me into CF! i gave you 10 blessings lol, thats all i can give apparently.

how do you put "originally from:" in the Qoute bubbles?

Yes im still Christian! lol....

and a side note: I don't recall you taking the time
to LEARN others beliefs in this discussion, only to attack
them with the tactic of "Carico's right,,, you're all wrong"
mentality.

I was willing to open up to you when I asked a simple
question..what are my religious beliefs? You
shrugged me off with "other than Christian" is fine
enough for yourself.

What does it mean to you to be 'truly born again?'

Quite frankly, I think you might do christianity a service if you stopped talking. :)

Unless of course the bible says that the best way to convert people is to mock their religion. Of course, you might not be trying to convert us, just preach at us, which again does christianity a disservice.

May I recomend you visit,
www.blueletterbible.org
it might explain how to treat people better than you have been.
