I think people are smart enough to realise that whoever sits in the WH can't single handedly reverse global trends. Which is what each of those points you raised are. You think it's enough to raise them and then point to Biden and blame him.

It's an incredibly insular viewpoint. And you haven't done much to reverse the impression that you are not up to speed with what's happening outside the US and why it's happening. The GOP (and yourself) has cried 'wolf' so many times that people are getting tired of it. It's all negative. The sky is falling! But it's not.

And where there is some pain, the whole planet is sharing it. Our mortgage rates are only about 1% lower than yours (but our median house prices are double yours). I pay 50% more than you do for gas. Our inflation rates are about the same. Is our government to blame? No...it's a global problem. We don't have a land border so we don't have problems with illegal immigrants to your extent. But Europe has a much bigger problem.

And you complain about crime with a lot of hand waving, but crime rates, by any measure, up to and including this year, have been falling since 2019. As sure as God made little green apples, if the last guy was still in office you'd be boasting about it.

She takes her job seriously and works on solving problems. She sets a good example. For politicians and especially young voters. Just because you don't care for her views doesn't make her bad at her job. I don't especially like Romney's views but I certainly have the ability to respect him as a politician. And his lukewarm ability to acknowledge truth. He dances fairly well for an old guy haha. Peace

Allegedly has two degrees, Economics, and Foreign Relations.
Yet when media types wanted to interview this young female bartender who ran unopposed for Congress the first time, the journalists proved they knew more about economics and foreign relations than AOC.

AOC sought to sponsor a cost of living pay raise for all members of Congress when she was a Freshman.
She makes over $100 thousand a year and wants more?

Pelosi accompanied her as AOC addressed the press about her pursuit.
Afterward either Pekosi forgot she was hot mic'd or didn't care, but she could be heard reprimanding AOC saying of her push for a salary hike, that's not how we make our money!

Career politicians. Senator Bryd when he died being the longest serving Senator in our history, show us we've not put them into office all those decades they're there.

They always fear powerful women. Alexandria is mentioned on foxnews more than our vice president. But a survey of dems found 83% feel she is good for the party. I cannot understand why republicans always feel a need to bash women in the other party. It's a bad habit that may also be another reason republicans can't even take an easy midterm election any longer. I can't really understand why she's of any concern with the issues republicans are now struggling with in their coalition. Foxnews is merely serving to increase her popularity. She might be president one day.

When the option is between losing an arm or both legs, it isn’t surprising people opted for the less severe option.

It isn’t necessarily an endorsement of the Democrats, rather a criticism of the Republicans. They still haven’t distanced themselves from the man that has caused so many issues and the main players in the Party now aren’t much different or better.

If the Republicans want to do better, then they need to do better.

There actually is an effort in the GOP to distance themselves from Mitch McConnell. Without Mitch they could have gained the majority in the Senate.
