I couldn't disagree more. Taylor is just about the only one I'd want to hear on the radio. I love his voice. But then, I've always liked that soulful sound. (I like Joe Cocker too.)

I agree with you Orchard. He's definitely my fave- I hope he wins!

I thought everyone but Kellie did well last night...even Ace. I agree he will be going home tonight though. I did vote for him a couple times but that roller coaster just cant be stopped by one person. I WISH it were Kellie...by all rights she should have been off the show a long time ago. I know I've NEVER voted for her and never will. It's not that I don't think she has a nice voice (given the right song), but she's just not right for this competition.

Can't wait to see the results...will be interesting this week I think.

I thought Ace looked great , but his perfomance was just average compared to those of others. Kellie was way off and I HOPE that she gets the boot tonight. Oh what a relief that would be. Overall, it was a night of strong perfomances and I couldn't help but think that this would have been Mandisa's night. This whole genre of songs was so good and I think there was something for everyone. At this point since my fave is out, I would only be shocked and heartbroken if Chris, Taylor and Paris were voted off. I don't have a very strong affinity for any of the others.

Tonight should be very interesting.

My husband caved last night. He felt sorry for Kelly and insisted we vote for her because she was humble and sorry and sad. So we did, and then I cast like 10 votes for Chris.

I really hated the show last night. I guess this style of music is just not my bag because most of the songs were torture to sit through. Even Katherine, who I really like a lot, I hated her song. Hated Paris, hated Elliott, reallllly hated Ace and his funky hair.

Loved Chris, loved Taylor.

And Airpo, I think you're right about how Ryan will split them up tonight. It's his usual pattern anyway, with this number of people left.

What I thought was humorous was Kellys comment to Rod about her chest! That was so hilarious and what made it funnier was Rods comment and the way he looked at the cameraman! You KNOW he was thinking about it in a MUCH different way than Kelly was.

HOW IN THE BLAZIN WORLD IS TAYLOR #1 EACH AND EVERY TIME....THERE ARE ATLEAST 3 OTHER PEOPLE BETTER THAN HIM.

IT MUST BE A BUNCH OF OLD FARTS VOTING. HE IS NOT THAT GOOD.

Even though I actually am an old fart who loves Taylor and would buy his CDs (right now in fact IF I had any $ ), you can't blame me because I haven't been voting.

I also believe that Katherine Mcphee is the total package. As far as talent, she has a wide vocal range and is sultry. I think it takes a lot for a voter to get outside his/her preferences in music to proclaim who really has raw talent. I just don't believe Taylor fits into the AI mold. If you can imagine all the people that have sang from day one of tryouts and then look to the future and see Taylor winning, it would be total devastation...especially when you compare everyone to him.

A problem with Katharine that disqualifies her as being the total package IMO is that she has a potty mouth . What we are seeing recently is NOT the Katharine we saw during the tryouts. She has (cleverly) adopted her current persona because apparently she caught on that she wasn't winning friends and influencing people with her arrogant personality and profanity-laden speech.

Taylor and others, on the other hand, are still the same people we saw in the first auditions.

Chris: My second favorite tonight. Tender, vulnerable performance--loved it! He showed that he has a really clear soothing voice, and hold the presses--he SHAVED and ditched the eyeliner! Yeah!

I want the beard back!

Paris: She sounded good tonight. More mature and not sassy. Good job.

I totally agree. I think she needs to stick with this kind of sophisticated type of demeanor.

Elliott: Mr. Tumnus, I really like your voice! I understand what Simon was saying, but I just will NOT believe you would be going home before ACE, so I think you are safe.

Ace: Please don't dippity-do your hair like that again. I thought I had accidentally flipped to "The Sopranos". You got a little too giddy when Simon didn't say you were awful. That came across just a little too...well neeeedy. Buh-bye.

Love the Sopranos comparison! But I'm in the group that actually found that an attractive look on Ace when seen straight on, as if he might have had a haircut--much more manly looking.
