I loved last night's show. I thought everyone except for Kellie did extremely well. I wasn't impressed with Ace either, but it could have been a lot worse. My favorite guys are definitely Elliott and Chris in that order. I enjoy Paris' singing voice as well, but like most of you, do not care for her speaking voice I'm just not a Kat fan at all. She has a decent voice, but she seems so aloof or something. Can't place my finger on it, but she's "out there" in la la land most of the time it appears.

I agreed with tonight's vote off, but I do wish it had been Kellie personally as well. However, I am absolutely stunned that you know who was in the bottom 3. Why on earth was he there? I could not believe it...and he certainly did not deserve to be there. Anyhow, there is my 2 cents for what it's worth.

Oh...Savedsis (I think it was you hun) mentioned about not being able to get through for Elliott. It was the same here for me. He has a very strong fan base, and I think he's going to do really well if the fans keep voting like this. I'm wondering how many he'll lose of those trying to keep Chris safe now though?

I know...I think my daughter mentioned she could not get though and I said me neither.....I just heard that Chris fans voted for him...So he would not go....I hope we can keep him a little longer.......

I think we can and will I don't see him going any time in the real near future personally. Those 2 weeks in the bottom 3 really scared a lot of Elliott fans in to voting like crazy. Plus some of the others who had their favorites voted off switched over to Elliott as well.

He's got such a beautiful voice...Does he have any fast songs or are the all slow ballads?

I guess the gloves will come off next week...I wonder who Ace fans will vote for now? I was kinda thinking that Chris' hardcore rock fans aren't going for this laid back, mellow version of him and have rebelled in the voting. He may have to return to the darkside and scream for some more votes. I just don't buy that all of Chris' fans were voting for Elliot to keep him safe...they were voting for Elliot because he can sang!!!

I was shocked to see Chris in the same group with Ace. Paris, eh. But when they told Paris to sit down I said to my hubby, if Ace stays and Chris goes home, I'm totally done with this show.
I can't believe Kellie was NOT in the bottom three. I guess cute and stupid does pay off in some industries. After all. Look at Jessica Simpson. (Totally not a fan of hers)
I kind of wished Taylor would have stood in the middle of the groups and held out both his hands joining them all as one. But is was pretty cool the way he did it. I guess he figured with Ace in one of the groups, the others MUST be safe.

I just HATE when they do they "pick the group..." thing to a contestant.

Bah!

I like Ace and am sorry to see him go, but he isn't the best of the bunch, so I guess it's o.k.

But Kellie really, really should be out of there. She should be next...no question about it. Everyone who is left IS better than she is.

Oh and BTW, I thought Rod Stewart was terrible.

My husband, my son, and I just kept looking at it other and making faces. Finally my son said something like - I'd rather hear ANY of the contestants sing...

Don't know if anyone else has commented about him, but yeah.

I do think he was a fairly good coach with them, seemed to give some good advice.

I've never been a fan of his, so...

I think the best coach was Barry. Not a fan of his either, but he REALLY seems to know his stuff about music.

He should have taken the classy way out of it and just stood in the middle of the stage essentially between the two groups. Someone did that in the past (can't remember which contestant) and I thought that is the best way to handle it. I lost a little respect for Taylor as a person for doing it the way he did.

I told my husband the same thing! I was not happy to see Chris in the bottom group especially with who all is left.

I lost a little respect for Taylor as a person for doing it the way he did.

But Taylor had to make a decision under pressure and I'm sure he regrets it now because of the feedback which I'm also sure that he has heard so really I feel for him.

Hey, on Wednesday nights I am in church and lose out on seeing who is kicked off...however, if I had to choose, of course I would rather see performances.

On a wonderful note...and despite all the other argumentive type forums... isn't it amazing how all of us from all walks of life can get together and share our joy in AI together?

Okay that was sappy..... don't get me wrong... I wish everyone around here knew Jesus as their Lord and Savior....but I like coming to this thread where everyone gets along....
