  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Maybe it is the trinitarian view of God that needs to be changed.
So the dogma of the Church of Jesus Christ needs to be altered to match the doctrines of failed Judaism? God forbid such nonsense!

Judaism has held a monolistic view of God, which scriptures support.
Scripture tells us that the Word was God, and that the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. That is the rock upon which Judaism founders.

ld be a simple matter that when they mikvah their followers, it was a profession of faith in the truth of the three, not that they are all to be considered different gods rolled into one family, but One God who revealed Himself differently for different reasons, purposes and different times.
The Church discarded modalism many centuries ago. I, for one, don't feel the need to unearth ancient heresies from the rubbish heap upon which they were cast.

I am woman, mother of two, wife of my hubby, I am the first and last in the heart of my family. I am one.
"Oh, I am a cook and a captain bold,
And the mate of the NANCY brig,
And a bo'sun tight, and a midshipmite,
And the crew of the captain's gig!'"

None of which have anything even remotely to do with the concept of the Holy Trinity.

Either way, God is not the moon god, Allah from the Koran/Quran.
There is no such animal. That's a fabrication propagated by the likes of Jack Chick, who have no compunction about lying if they think it helps their case.

Allah was a pagan god whom the Arabs worshipped, and Muhammad needed apostles and followers so he 'converted' the name to mean 'the One god' and this is also why the crescent moon is on their flag because ALlah was the moon god.

Not sure if anyone touched this yet....
Just thought I would add it in.

Well, peace!

Just answer one question - If Muslims worship the one true God - what do you do with the belief of Muslims to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.
Because they say stuff about the One True God that aren't true.

Look, if I tell you that the capital building in Washington has a statue of Frankenstein's Monster on top of the dome (wink to Rocky & Bullwinkle fans), it doesn't mean that I'm talking about a different building (that ain't MY US capital!), it means I'm saying something about the US capital building that isn't true. How difficult is that to understand?

If I say: "George habitually wears Converse sneakers and a homburg hat." The faithful reply: "He's talking about a different George Bush." Fact is I'm talking about the GB who's president of the US, I'm just saying stuff about him that isn't true. If I say "They turn off Niagara Falls at night to save water.", it isn't because I'm talking about another Niagara Falls; there ain't but the one. I'm just saying something about the one and only Niagara Falls that isn't true.

Sorry, but that's baloney. Forget all the Jack Chick gobbledygook and read the Quran and then you'll know what Muslims believe about God. You can't talk 'em out of worshipping a pagan god that they never heard of in the first place.

The Muslims worship the one true God, their God is our God. However they have limited understanding of our God.

Muslims have a limited understanding
Jews have more
Protestants more than them
Orthodox even more
Catholics have the fullness of revelation.
Those are your views, not facts. This is not a Catholic site. I believe and hold true that the Catholic religion is MUCH more flawed than other Christians.

I can absolutely assure you, good man, that I do not read Jack Chick. :D
My icon should tell you how degrading he is of my faith.

That aside, I read this from history scholars.

Those are your views, not facts. This is not a non-Catholic site. I believe and true that the non-Catholic religion is much flawed than Christian - which is Catholic...

:D

BTW.. this site uses CATHOLIC Creed as a basis of its rules - so, it is more CATHOLIC then non - plus there is more Catholics then non-Catholics - so we rule!

I love democracy - which is a Greek word :)

Greeks are Catholic too.;)

Saying that Catholics have the answers as a fact and that other Christians do not because of minor insignificant differences is not in the Christian spirit, it seperates and divides us as God's people. I advise you not to do so.

But I just repeated what you said yourself, are you also advising yourself not to do so? Or just me? :D
No, you are twisting words completely. I have no problem with you believing that Catholics are "better" that other Christians. Do not state it as fact. I never stated my views as fact, so your original reply to me made no sense. Thank you, and goodnight. I will pray that you find your way to the other Christian religions :prayer:

:D

I used exactly the same sentence structure as you did.

If you accuse me of something - you accuse yourself - which is good - self questioning and self accusing are a healthy thing.

Maranatha.
Wow, please try to understand what I am saying, not see what you want. You were presenting your opinion as COMPLETE FACT. I said please dont do that, because I believe something else. You then say the same sentence, telling ME not to do that, when I never presented my opinion as fact... I am still praying you look away from the RCC :prayer: I shall continue to pray.

RCC?!

My young brother, pray for me but pray for something else, I never looked at RCC - probably never will.

Not all Catholics look to Rome;)

Has anyone seen this or have more info on it. Pretty fascinating if true.

Muslims state Jewish Temple never existed

http://bsimmons.wordpress.com/2007/0...never-existed/

Palestinian Justice: Moses, Jesus “prophets of Islam,” Jewish temple never existed
In saying these things about Moses and Jesus, Sheikh Taysir Tamimi is merely repeating standard Muslim belief — standard belief that of course strips Judaism and Christianity of all legitimacy.

“Moses, Jesus ‘really prophets of Islam’: Chief Muslim claims Jewish Temples never existed, Al Aqsa built by angels,” by Aaron Klein for WorldNetDaily.com, with thanks to Sr. Soph:

JERUSALEM – The Jewish Temples never existed, the Western Wall really was a tying post for Muhammad’s horse, the Al Aqsa Mosque was built by angels, and Abraham, Moses and Jesus were prophets for Islam.

All this according to Sheikh Taysir Tamimi, chief Palestinian Justice and one of the most influential Muslim leaders in Israel. Tamimi is considered the second most important Palestinian cleric after Muhammad Hussein, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem.

In a WND exclusive interview, Tamimi, who preaches regularly from the Al Aqsa Mosque, claimed Jews have no historical connection to Jerusalem or Israel and that the Jewish Temples never existed.
