A pardon from what exactly?

John 3:16-21 (ESV)
For God So Loved the World
16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. 19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. 20 For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. 21 But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”

Anyone who does not adhere to this belief require a pardon in your eyes, correct?

Then God created a world where billions of pardon's are needed. Quite sad.

It is quite sad that the first man and woman gave up paradise for the lure of sin. It was not Gods will, but man exercising his will. Jesus died on the cross, taking the penalty for your sin and mine, to make possible the restoration of that original relationship that existed between God and man in the garden of Eden.

Who has said he made a deathbed conversion?

I was being facetious. It was an allusion to Darwin's "deathbed conversion" started by an over zealous Christian. I was making the point that religious people will flat out lie to and make things up to further the work of the "Lord."

So when you lie it is called "being facetious"? Kind of a double standard, isn't it?

He didn't create a world where billions of pardons were necessary. Man exercised his free will and chose sin and death over the paradise God had originally created. That is what is sad.

Do you think that Christians make the rules?

Thankfully no, in reality they don't.

But, many would certainly like to make the rules, which is shown by their eagerness to put down those who don't agree with christian theology and state those people are in need of a pardon.

No one. They will go out of there way to make hitler out to be a Christian to counter the notion that his final solution was based on atheistic evolution.

Hitler was a confirmed Catholic. "Gott mit uns" on SS belt buckles. Official Nazi documents forbade atheists as members. Hitler was a creationist who despised what Darwin had to say.

But, by all means, keep believing what you need to sleep at night.

You can't have it both ways.

If God made man knowing their future and having a plan for them, he created what he did knowingly.
