He looked on His creation and said it was good. BUT, it was just the beginning of His plan, unless you think our Perfect God flawed in His plans. I can just see it now: Adam and Eve sin, and rudely alerted in this disaster, God realizes He will have to switch to Plan B.
You like Ecclesiastes, so do I:
Ecc 3:19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.
Ecc 3:20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
You show me in Genesis where it says man was created upright?
Man to have been created perfect would have been a partaker of the tree of life. But he was not and died from eating knowledge, he had no clue and no righteousness, for he was naked.
Your quotation of the comparison of mankind to beasts is a comparison of FALLEN mankind.
My quotation describes mankind as original. Solomon knew the difference and expected his readers to easily understand it as well. You demand that I prove the statement in Ecclesistes true by supporting it witjh a Genesis quite? God said that all that he had created was GOOD. Had it been tainted with sin it would not have been classified under that category. There are also scriptures in Psalms which describe god's creation activity and all his ways as perfect.
Deuteronomy 32:4
"The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He.
Had God had all this suffering and nausea injusrtice, such in mind as his plan to begin with, then he could not be called righteous, upright, nor perfect.

That "But it was just the beginning-"isn't found as part of the declaration. It is a concept you infuse into what is written.

God said that all that he had created was GOOD including the sixth day within which he had created Adam and Eve.
Genesis 1:31 ►
New International Version
God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning--the sixth day.
Had they been tainted with an inherent tendency to sin they would have fallen short of perfection, would not have been in his image and would never have been classified under that category.
The following scripture corroborates this:
Deuteronomy 32:4
"The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He.
Job 34:10
"Therefore, listen to me, you men of understanding. Far be it from God to do wickedness, And from the Almighty to do wrong
Had God had all this suffering and nauseating injustice, such as the Nazi extermination pogrom against the Jews, the infliction of torture by Vlad the Impaler, the agonizing screams of those dying from Black Plagues and other horrendous diseases in mind as his plan to begin with as you claim, then he most definitely could not be called righteous, upright, nor perfect with needing to completely redefine what those words mean.

I am getting disconnected from this website aprox every three minutes and that is seriously interfering with my ability to discuss this subject. So any grammatical or structural disorganization in my response is caused by this constant nuisance. I have had enough and need a breather!
