Could she have resisted God opening her heart?

Heck, I'm still trying to find out why it's even necessary.

I always figure when the regular non-Calvinists avoid a thread, it must have hit a nerve.

Does anyone come to God without His drawing? No.

You negated your premise way back at the beginning of the thread...you just haven't realized it yet. ;)

    I guess this was overlooked.

Okay, but why would no one believe if left to themselves?

    It's one of several possibilities ;

    God left them to themselves

    and

man by default refuses the Gospel thinking it foolish.

"Left to themselves " is indicative of how men act and their innate belief in the powers of human free will and clever reasoning .

Yet it's not the clever or the seekers that get saved .....

Here's what was overlooked. I asked you at the beginning if she could have responded negatively. You answered, yes. End of discussion.

That was irrelevant to the thread. You can start a thread on that, though. But if you could address the topic, that would be great.

I have already addressed the OP. The OP is irrelevant.

    That's a new one.

That's fine. I guess you don't have an answer.

Oh, and it still has yet to be addressed.

Judas was saved, yet came to God initially without God's drawing thus not negated.

No man can open the door of his heart, nor can he help the Lord, ie, cannot contribute to his salvation - all have an "enslaved-will".

    Old Jack's opinion

Why do you conclude Jesus was the working force here? Are you familiar with the Athanasian creed?

So likewise the Father is Lord, the Son Lord, and the Holy Ghost Lord. And yet not Three Lords but One Lord.
