Baking soda plus a very gentle facial cleanser like Cetaphil is a great way to exfoliate.

I swear by doing an aspirin mask once a week. You dissolve 4-5 uncoated aspirin tablets in a tiny bit of water, add a few squirts of facial cleanser and about 2-3 teaspoons of raw honey, mix together, spread on your face, let it for for about 15 minutes, then gently exfoliate as you wash off.

The other thing that I've found helps is doing stuff to support my liver, like milk thistle.

exfoliate! i have pretty sensitive skin and use st ive's apricot scrub. even if it doesnt get rid of acne, it makes your skin look a lot better and your acne less obvious. also, go to a dermatologist. when i go, they give me a bunch of free samples of acne meds. recently they gave me pills which are working wonders.

The veggies thing does work, and it makes me feel good, like I feel healthy. Also, I would recoment, not using handsoap on your face, it's bad for sensitive skin and can dry it up and make things worse. There is a proactive lotion I use, it realy does moisturize skin. Also, this may sound crazy, when I go camping in the mountains and come back, my skin is clearer. Maybe good air helps also, hehe.

i use regural Dove soap on a regural basis like morning evening and night and my acne is almost clear

I use Dove as well on my face and I too have hyper sensitive skin. But that dove keeps my face clear for the most part a little dry but mostly clear!!:)

Go see a dermatologist. ASAP.

If you can afford it, I'd recommend doing something like microdermabrasion or chemical peels. They're safe on sensitive skin... they just use lower concentrations of the stuff.

If you have more limited resources, I'd see what else the dermatologist would say. Generally, some sort of topical medicine will work at least somewhat well.

I've been dealing with the curse of acne and acne scars for 10 years now. I'm doing the extreme route (microdermabrasion and chemical peels) currently, and I'm hoping it works. My skin is fairly sensitive and I've had no problems so far.

alavera plant is really great for acne also, if you have some break it and get the gel from inside the plant and rub it on your face. it will clear it up in a week!

Wow, I've never heard of the aloe vera plant helping acne. I'll definitely have to try that out! I've had an aloe vera plant for quite a few years now, and it's really grown nicely. I've only used it about 2-3 times, and that was one time I used it on this eczema I had (I think..), and the other time it was when I got burnt. Anyways, that is some awesome advice that really interests me!

Anyways, for my acne, I haven't really tried anything on it. It hasn't gotten to out of control, mostly I just cover it up with concealer & makeup. Since it is summertime, and I don't have to go to school, I've left makeup off some days, to give my skin a rest. I've also been drinking more water, which I hope helps out some.

My acne has been terrible since about 6th grade. A couple years ago I first went to the derm and he made me go through this long spew of things like antibiotics, topical creams, face washes, and chemical peels. It started to clear up in about a year and then he tried to ween me off my pills and now Im not taking them and my face is horrid. He won't put me back on them either! He is making me do another set of chemical peels. I hope they work.
