Day 1 - God created a day. Odd. A day is the turning of a sphere as seen from the sphere in front of a massive light source. This on the face of it is not as difficult as creating the universe, planets, sun, life
Day 2 - Creating the sky with water above and below. Again atmospherics on planets not as stunning as the vastness of galaxies, black holes, gas giants, frozen rocks like Neptune
Day 4 - lights in the sky, just as signs of seasons and to navigate by. The moon is to rule over the night, except it also shines during the day, but not as obvious.
Day 6 - land animals made, finished creation

Eden - Man made from the dust. A talking snake. A different picture put on the back drop of the 6 day creation. These are all perspectives, different ways of looking at life and incidents.
The 6 day creation is very much as someone standing on the planet would see it.
The views express Gods intention and creative hand, not a scientific description of events, or even order of things outside the perspective of the earth.

There could only be one author of this story, God, because He alone was there when He did it.
It is ironic that because galaxies rotate so fast with so little visible matter, cosmologists have assumed that 95% of everything is made of something called dark matter, and dark energy, which we cannot see or interact with. Some have said faith is just a faith in the gaps of science, except now these same people have created a gap that covers 95% of all that is known. Ironic.

I am not going to go over every point you made as it is not really worth the wasted time.

But take your day 1 the only point supported by The Bible is God created a day.

The rest a turning of a sphere is all from science, which is not Biblical and is not supported by The Bible.

But what is, is the sun, moon and stars moving over the earth. These created lights are placed in the raqia (above the earth/land) to give light on the earth. This is simply supported by The Bible, not by science.

As i have stated many times, earth in The Bible, does not mean a water covered sphere with areas of land scattered around it. Earth simply means land/ground in The Bible.

It is clear some dismiss everything that does not support their view of the physical world being flat.
Doing this will always leave the believer in this view sure they are right, as they have not clearly looked at other points of view. The power of critical thinking, is risking one could be wrong and to attempt to see other peoples points of view.

Two conditions, OCD and autism show how easily we can get stuck in one way of looking at life and coping strategies that calm us down. It reminds me of a person who suffers from paranoia saying they have no paranoia, its just everyone is listening to them and being critical and negative. The best one can say is this is how they feel. Until you look at the interactions and compare it with how they feel, can you say whether they are right, or actually paranoid.

So a simple problem for flat earthers is the total eclipse of the sun by the moon. The sun disappears, and you can see its corona. Another issue is the tides which are linked to the sun moon cycles in a spherical model. I cannot see how tides and seasons make any sense in the flat earth model because there is no being closer to the sun for half the year and further away from the sun for the other half year, because the sun is a small blob daily rotating around a massive earth, which is clearly bigger than the sun, though all our heat and weather is generated by the suns movement. Weather forecasting which models the affect of seasons, cold poles and warm equator with banded tropical regions driven by jet streams high in the atmosphere. Though weather is very random, small affects become enormous very quickly, within 5 days and super computers they can be pretty close. But these models rely 100% on a spherical world, a tilt towards the sun and massive complexity in air movements. For this to be all wrong, literally, the forecasts would mainly be untrue. But day after day, they are remarkably correct, even to the level of following clouds travelling over 1,000's of miles.

Imagine the idea that is is all made up, and fictional. Why would anyone build a technological marvel to go near the sun and in a sense touch it? And to be able to do this, you would need to calculate the suns mass, diameter, gravitational pull, heat, and all the trajectory and communication issues involved.

Using a solar system model with the earth being round going around the sun, these scientists managed to achieve their goal, and confirm what the suns weather is like.

The front of the probe's solar shield endured temperatures approaching 2,500 degrees Fahrenheit. Wow.

It cost Nasa $1.6-billion. But to be a flat earther you would have to accept this was all fake, and just a way of convincing people the earth is round.

But the real reason for the mission is the sun sends out massive jets of charged particles that can destroy satellites and ground based electronic equipment which is critical to GPS and world communications, and could impact billions of dollars of equipment if not protected and shut down before such an event.

The more our infrastructure relies on this equipment the more we have to be sure it works well.
If following faith in Jesus means calling this all fake, then this way of following Jesus must be fake.

In truth it takes real faith to see how the two complement each other, and how we need to see the strengths and weaknesses of both positions. God bless you

Like i said, your unique interpretations my friend. Put 200 people in a room with one passage from scripture and you may cone up with 200 different interpretations on what said scripture means.

God gave us understanding, knowledge, intelligence etc. God gave man all that we have.

God is not 'locked' in the Bible. He exists even when the Bible is closed my friend.

God gave us everything. The Bible is not a book that explains everything that God has given us. To do that, we would need millions of 'Bibles'.

Globe believing Christians have been given the truth about our planet and the solar system, by God. Through science, that God gave us, man has been able to delve much more into God's creation.

Flat earth believers have been deceived and controlled into thinking the earth is flat. Globe earth has been proven again and again throughout the centuries.

One day soon, you will see the truth that the earth is indeed a globe. Even now, with people getting the chance to fly into space via Branson and Mr Amazon we have witnessed the lovely curve of the earth. God's wonderful creation.

Satan is the liar and the father of lies. However, he will use the truth when it suits him. Really effective lies contain enough truth to disarm sceptics. An example of this is when Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness. Satan quoted scripture. No lie there. But his intent was evil, as it always is.

You need to remember that Adam partook of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. Just because something is human does not make it evil. It also does not make it acceptable to God. Man's problem is not good or evil, but rather life and death. So not all science is evil and neither is all science good. Not all scientists are out to disprove the existence of God.

Observation proves that the earth is a globe. It's not good and it's not evil. It is a fact, like 2 + 2 = 4.

As a comment on the Parker Solar Probe and the stunning science they are doing at Nasa, I do not understand your point.

Are you suggesting Nasa is lying and it is all fake?

If thousands of people are involved in the probe project, spent a decade planning it, building it, and seeing the results and then publishing them, because of the amazing discoveries involved irrespective of faith or belief, it stands as an exercise in the discovery of our solar system and how it works.

Now anyone can disagree with the interpretation of the findings but not its reality. Once one starts going into denial of discoveries and facts, one is into the area of invention and creating ones own reality, where truth no longer matters.

Christian globe earth believers strongly believe in God, in God's word. We believe in truth. Truth given to us by God, in scripture.

We believe God gave man knowledge. Science. Understanding.

A Globe earth is a reality. Flat earth is fiction and pure fantasy.

Actually, there is interpretation and there is re-interpretation. A well-known Bible Scholar, Dr. Michael Heiser, ( PhD in the Hebrew Bible and Semitic Languages) who though he embraces science, yet correctly teaches that the Bible teaches a 3-tier cosmology.


It's bad enough that CF pushes out those who still actually believe in the biblical 3-tier cosmology into this "conspiracy theories" forums. But to still come after people here shows you just want to mock and pick on people. You got your 99% of CF. Let people be here in the 1%.

I don't see a 3 tier cosmology in the Bible. There is earth(land), sea(ocean), sky(1st heaven), space(2nd heaven), Heaven(3rd heaven), Sheol(underworld), Tartarus(prison of demons), and Hell(lake of fire).

You could organize these into tiers if you want. But I see more than 3 here. If you divide the physical dimension from the spiritual, you get a 2 tiered cosmology. Sky and space are it for a strictly physical cosmology.
