Which is exactly the kind of statement which causes pro-choicers to conclude that prolife is more about controlling women's sex lives than about preventing baby murder.
The government should not have to pay for your choices.

Still a baby.
And you're still going to have to convince people of that instead of merely condemning them for not regarding it as self-evident if you seriously want to outlaw abortion.

If women know they will get no additional money after their first child maybe they will keep their legs closed.
<sigh> Having sex is one of nature's strongest urges. It is right up there with the urge to eat or breathe. It is insane to think that human beings would be able to stop breathing or eating. It is insane to think they would stop having sex.

We have states in this country who won't even allow abortions now when a woman is RAPED. What are you going to do for the woman on assistance who is raped and becomes pregnant? Cut off her money too?

It would really be helpful if people would stop thinking of women as breeding stock that the rest of us have the right to control when or if they get bred.

I think it's like the ancient Chinese wisdom, "Running a big country is like frying a small fish". The secret is not to make up laws just because you don't like something. Trying to completely ban abortion is an intrusive and useless measure and has never resulted in good outcomes, in terms of human development, in any country that has tried it.
I’m sure people who live because of the law will disagree.

If it can't live outside the womb then it is not really murder. Murder usually a person have to alive before the act; if not that is not murder. If you have an abortion early enough that there is no way the baby is viable that is alive then really is it murder if it is not a live person to begin with.

Which proves my point. It's all about social control, not murder.
social control if you cannot make wise choices and as a result others pay then you have to learn to control yourself if you do not want to be controlled.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. Your lackadaisical ideology and smug assertions won't help a kid that has been abandoned in a trash bin or raised in a neglectful foster situation. All I see is a punitive mindset determined to punish women for their choices instead of offering them real freedom.

Under secular law that would depend in the early weeks. Whether Christians like it or not secular law is what rules this land ( and should rule this land) Personally, I believe that abortion should ( in fact be a state issue up to a point.

If an adult can't live without his insulin then its not murder if I prevent him from ever using it again.
Under the law that one would likely be hard to prove as murder. Especially in the first degree.

The laws in question are secular.

That it’s a useless measure.
OH OK I thought you meant that it never comes with good outcomes that can sometimes be true.

That’s not even close to addressing my post.

Every job I’ve had has required drug testing. And that is me giving them some sort of service, and receiving wages for said service. Here we are talking about money for nothing.
Actually we are talking about a safety net that keeps people from sleeping on the streets. Drug testing has a reason when working on a job because of the quality of the product and the safety of co-workers.

Using drug testing for the purpose of yanking a safety net out from people only serves to put more people sleeping and defecating on the sidewalks.

Sometimes, it just isn't about the money despite the uber-capitalist society we live in.

So your solution is to kill them early so they won’t be put in a rare situation later that might be harmful. Got it.

And sometimes helping people even though you don't think they deserve it is the right thing to do.
