What part of the theory of evolution would need to change if the first life on Earth were created by God, and all the life and species we see today evolved through natural processes from that first created life that we all share as a common ancestor?

Why would it take faith to not believe claims that have no evidence? You haven't supplied any evidence for your claims. It would take faith to accept them as true.

There's no evidence, based on the scientific method, that humanity is the result of only random, mindless, meaningless, purposeless and goalless mechanisms either. Again, it depends on one's faith-based view that they're simply a sack of chemicals which was produced by this method. Some embrace the meaningless sack of chemicals creationist view, others reject it.
