Thank you for these sensible posts.

Sensible? Sensible?

Can I ask you what exactly is sensible about Joe Biden committing 535 administrative actions in the last 3 years, in order to UNDO all that Trump and Congress had done together to secure the United States border, in order to flood the county with illegals.

THEN, Congress is now telling us, instead of simply going back and following all the laws still on the books that had been accomplished under Trump and created a secure border, we supposedly need new immigration laws (of course, to enable them to keep on flooding the country with illegals) to fix the "problem" Joe Biden created with his 535 administrative actions...

You know, instead of just following the law as it actually is that secured the border in a very compassionate way...

And you sit, and tell us we are insensible devils????

Who do you think are truly devils here????

American citizens who are good Christians? Really?

Or a government who just did the unthinkable right before our eyes...

When people invade a nation like this, it changes the very fabric of that nation. Forever.

They just used an old man with dementia in order to use him to get around the will of the American people and invade this nation...

And you call us insensible...

Can I ask you what exactly is sensible about Joe Biden doing 537 administrative actions in the last 3 years, in order to UNDO all that Trump and Congress had done together to secure the United States border, in order to flood the county with illegals.

Biden gave Gov. Abbott a 1 PM EST deadline to remove his National Guard troops Abbott refused So Biden issued punitive sanctions against Texas by pausing liquid natural gas development opportunities, which will directly hurt the Texas economy and will help Putin as Europe will have to turn to Russia for LNG

Of course. But whether one is liberal or conservative minded doesn't change the fact that millions of people are coming here and either legally seeking asylum or illegally crossing.

See, here is where I see the devil in your expressed sentiments. The devil=accuser/slanderer. It looks like you slander the compassion of a liberal mindset as warped according to either a mischaracterization of the term liberal, or your own paraphrasing of the issue.
I see the devil expressed in your rhetoric. It's one thing to have compassion for immigrants who come to America LEGALLY seeking a better life, yet the Biden administration's ILLEGAL immigration invasion of America scheme, accompanied by a human trafficking crisis, a fentanol crisis, and a strain on our economy is not about compassion.

No I don’t support sanctions I support Texas

Thank you for sharing.

Sorry, this is the first I heard about sanctions on Texas... I think my heart just skipped a beat, and I'm crying.

I need to get offline. I just do.

LOL Never miss an opportunity to take something and twist it until is just isn't true....

Biden pauses LNG export approvals after pressure from climate activists

The pause "sees the climate crisis for what it is: the existential threat of our time," said Biden, a Democrat.

Companies and countries in Europe rely on steady supplies of LNG from the U.S., which became world's top LNG exporter last year, as the region tries to wean itself off pipelined gas from Russia after its 2022 invasion of Ukraine. U.S. allies in Asia also covet LNG as they seek to slow coal consumption.

The freeze is only on pending applications for exports to countries that the US does not already have existing free-trade agreements with. It also includes exemptions for national security emergencies. So, most of Europe is unaffected. Same goes for most other US allies.

Yes, I'm pointing out that the devil=accuser/slanderer, but I'm not slandering anyone nor am I going to believe/entertain slander about others including Biden.

These are your words: .... the Biden administration's ILLEGAL immigration invasion of America scheme, accompanied by a human trafficking crisis, a fentanol crisis, and a strain on our economy is not about compassion.

I'm not going to believe or entertain any slander that Biden has schemed to unleash an illegal invasion upon America accompanied with human trafficking, fentanyl, etc...

And? That article agrees with what I said:
This pause won’t affect export projects that have already been authorized, Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said. She added it also won’t impact U.S. supplies to Europe or Asia because the United States already has seven terminals open and others expected to start operating in the next few years.

So?

What you said was "Biden gave Gov. This , and what RocksInMyHead posted, it looks like your attack on Biden failed quite spectacularly.

Eh, I wouldn't be surprised if the move was, at least in part, motivated by Abbott's actions. But, all things considered, it's one of the least-confrontational ways for Biden to address the situation.

He can't really ignore the fact that a governor is blatantly defying a Supreme Court ruling - with the support of other Republican governors and congressmen as well. But at the same time, addressing the issue directly by doing something like federalizing the National Guard units or explicitly calling Abbot out pushes things closer to violence. What happens if he federalizes the Guard and Abbott says no?

Instead, he's applying moderate economic pressure to convince Texas to follow the law. That's a time-honored negotiation tactic. Consider Republican threats to defund sanctuary cities. Similar concept.

My post was incorrect these are not officially sanctions on Texas (although that’s what they amount to)
You can believe one has nothing to do with the other but I don’t think that’s the case

Can you summarize your video? I'm not particularly interested in what "Beau of the Fifth Column" has to say.
He says the pause is to assess the impact on climate change and that Republicans who (according to him) said Russia was no big deal are now going to do a 180 and say this helps Putin because they are owned by the oil companies (do the oil companies control LNG too?)

They do. Most petroleum companies in the US do both oil and gas - especially the giants (Shell, Chevron, Exxon, etc). Shipping and the LNG terminals are contracted out, but the gas itself is still coming from the oil companies.

We need to start doing all we can to get local and state governments together here.

This is an issue that affects all of us in every conceivable way, whether our families were themselves immigrants or not.

When the actions of the government are declarations of war against the American people it's time to circle the wagons.

It's actually kinda funny, but my husband and I came to the mountains because it was a highly defensible location if Islamic extremists came after me for becoming Christian... Like my husband says, we are surrounded by 75 miles of armed hillbillies to keep me safe...

Now it's a safety feature against our own government...

Crazy isn't it? Life changes on a dime.
