dad, don't you remember how terrible wrong Zeke was about Tyre?
I remember having to look up that stuff because of your delirious claims. The result was a comforting look at how Tyre and Babylon would be around in the final times. The conclusion is that the ultimate fulfilments of prophesies of their total demise have to follow those final times!

How cool is that?!

They didn't get history right, at least not when it comes to prophecies. In fact they got an amazing amount of history wrong.

In your dreams. That doesn't count.

But with enough guess and vague enough and long enough prophesies they were all but guaranteed to get some of them wrong. When a specific prophecy is made the Bible tends to get it wrong.
A virgin was to give birth in the city of David. A big gong to you.

When you actually write what you here from other people decades after the supposed events which you never were a part of.
Someone apparently sold you a bridge real cheap. Better check the deed.

Your lack of evidence only supports my claims. Thank you.

No, that was only the sin of a couple of Gospel writers padding the story. The prophecy did not mention a virgin, it used the word for "young woman". Now this birth would be the most famous birth of all time if it had happened as predicted. The author of that piece used the word for virgin elsewhere in Daniel. So why in the most important supposed prophecy in the Bible was the wrong word used? Luke was particularly guilty of padding the nativity story.

Sorry, you got the prophecy one hundred percent wrong. You are only fooling yourself. It was a worthless prophecy if it went by your distorted view. Please remember the 9th Commandment applies to you, even if you are lying for the Bible. The Bible should not need any lies so it would be wise to stick to the truth.

If Babylon or Tyre were to be in the final days, obviously they would not have ceased to exist totally....yet. Grow a point.

Great. So name a prophesy written after the event? Let's see your stuff.

Half of the Tyre prophesy was written after the event. Zeke made his prophecy after Nebby had left to attack Tyre. Zeke was a prisoner at that time in Babylon so he new what Nebby was up to. He got that part and the obvious part right. He got the defeat of Tyre wrong.

No. That would not be any sign. If you want to talk bible, try to catch up.

Luke was a doctor. He knew all about birth and virgins. You are whistling in the dark.

You need to make Gabriel a liar also. He said that the child would be from the Holy Spirit of God. Mary told him she had been with no man. Isaiah prophesied a great sign of a virgin giving birth to the messiah. In NO possible way could there be any mistake for the honest person.

Prove any of the biblical prophecies were written before the events which weren't super vague to the point that it would be more interesting if they didn't come true.

Nope, Zeke made said Nebby would wipe out Tyre. He didn't.
A lot of things were said and references to various attacks on Tyre. You demonstrate an inability to understand. Ask Good for more than just a natural mind. Until then you fulfill prophesy by showing that the natural man cannot understand!

The temple in Jerusalem was foretold by Jesus to be coming down, to the last stone. It happened in 70AD.

Luke was hardly a "doctor". He might have been what they called a doctor in those days, but today the average high school student probably knows more than he did. And we have gone over the wording of that prophecy in the past, you had no answer to Luke's dishonesty then and you still don't have one.

Sadly dad does not understand his own Bible. Of course he probably never will since understanding the Bible leads to atheism.

By the way, from your claim it seems that Gabriel said nothing about Mary being a virgin.

What is amazing about people like dad and AV, once you more than scratch the surface you will find that they are rather extreme misogynists.

And once again you have it one hundred percent backwards. All of the attacks in the prophecy were by Nebby and the men under his command. There was no mention of later attackers. That would have rendered the prophecy meaningless.

According to dad I am a biblical prophet since I predicted that he would see a red car.

And when was that part of the bible written? You see, it isn't impressive if, say, the prophecy was already "fulfilled" before that prophecy was written down, because for all we know people made it up. Also, the less people are capable of actively making the prophecy come true, the more impressive it is.

Happened just as prophesied....

Dan 9:22 He gave me instruction and talked with me and said, "O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you insight with understanding.
Dan 9:23 "At the beginning of your supplications the command was issued, and I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed; so give heed to the message and gain understanding of the vision.
Dan 9:24 "Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy place.
Dan 9:25 "So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again, with plaza and moat, even in times of distress.
Dan 9:26 "Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined.
Dan 9:27 "And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate."
