I am not an expert on different versions of the Bible. The only claim that I am aware of is that the end of Mark is said to have been tampered with. Originally it ended with the empty tomb it is claimed.

And different sects have different math. It gets very very confusing. But I take it my point has been made that there are very different versions of Daniel and there are some very ardent debates from it. That alone makes it a failure as a prophecy. Nostradamus would have done just as well.

I don't know what you mean by other versions. The Bible is the Bible. I will have to look at this later when I have more time.

And I believe it is the History Channel that has a specific program specifically discussing that very problem. I think it is the shortest of the three versions that we see in the Bible.

What if someone claimed that on something you posted about evolution? Do you really think that a link about evolution is not biased in favor of evolution? Perhaps I should have mentioned that I require it to be verifiable in order to accept it as an actual prophecy. What you have there is, off course, just a story.

The prophecies have to be verifiable beyond the bible. If the bible is the only source which suggests the events occurred and the prophecy made that isn't enough.
