Nope, they made up the big bang and man from worms (or unknown first life forms before that) etc etc. They made up a version of how the universe is based on pig headed anti God foolishness...etc etc.
To value the physical as well as the spiritual is reasonable..to put it on an altar an worship it above God and to the exclusion of all else is idolatry.
