History started after the flood, not 1600 years before it. Only the Creator had the history for that, and we have it too.

You have yet to show that the Bible is God's word. Until you do it would be truly foolish to assume that any holy book was written by any god. Unless you can get some evidence that your god is correct your holy book is no more holy than that of the Hindus.

Interpreting the part of creation that man experiences and knows is not God's word any more than sticking one's hand on a stove is God's word. Experiencing nature and trying to see how it feels and looks and tastes and smells is not the word of God any more than a baby smelling dirty diapers is reading the Koran.

They didn't get history right, at least not when it comes to prophecies. In fact they got an amazing amount of history wrong. But with enough guess and vague enough and long enough prophesies they were all but guaranteed to get some of them wrong. When a specific prophecy is made the Bible tends to get it wrong.
